Love this recipe, except I alter it to make it allergen free by using Sunflower Seed Butter in place of peanut butter, using dairy/soy free chocolate chips and using dairy/soy free butter. They are so delicious! People are always fooled, not even realizing they are nut free.... And then my kids get to enjoy a staple, holiday treat. They love these!!!

I used Skippy PB with honey in it. Very yummy. I found the recipe to be a bit dry when I cut it in half. My version had 1/2 more PB than the written one here, for a total of 2 cups PB.

Worst buckeye recipe I've tried. Way to much sugar shouldn't be dry like recipe says.

Awesome recipe! Easy to make and tastes wonderful! I took this to a work event and received tons of compliments. I gave it four stars instead of five because it took about 30-45 minutes just to roll the balls of peanut butter because they kept breaking apart on me. I ended up warming up the peanut butter mixture in the microwave for a few seconds and that seemed to help. Overall, yummy!

This is the best buckeye recipe youll find. It has the perfect butter to peanut butter ratio. other recipes call for too much peanut butter and not enough butter. With this recipe, the only change you should make is use 5 cups powdered sugar. not 6. with that one fix, its an outstanding recipe. better than reeses! also you can use white and milk chocolate for the coating
