Very good recipe. This is a great, classic cookie. No frills, just quality. I made them with Ghiradelli chocolate chips and they were a HUGE HIT at my garden party.

I've tried this recipe a few times but have difficulty getting them to rise, they always turn out too flat. Also find it too sweet, but the texture is perfectly chewy.

These were easy and yummy! A little flat, so tasted great - loved the crispy edges. Make sure to have them in no longer then 10 min!

These cookies turned out great! Chewy middles which are my favorite. I did substitute butter flavored crisco shortening for the butter (less saturated fat) and added a half teaspoon of cinnamon.

These were awesome! I didn't have enough butter or flour. I substituted oil for butter and threw some oatmeal in a food processor for the flour. I also mixed white and milk chocolate chips (didn't have enough of one, seeing a theme :-)). The batch made about 20-22 LARGE cookies (a few were taste tasted before I could get an official count). Can't wait to make them again true to the recipe instead of making so many substitutions!
