Taste Bud Delight!!! I honestly can say it was the best banana bread I've ever had. It was my first effort at making banana bread from scratch. Even being interrupted during the process, it was absolutely fantastic! I made two modifications: (1)I added 1/3 C mashed banana making the total 2 2/3. This was because I couldn't bring myself to toss out the amount left in the bowl after mashing. I was worried about excess moisture but didn't notice it in the taste. (2)I also added 1/2 C Chocolate Chips. That was just a whim as I was waiting for the oven to warm up. It was perfect for a little chocolatey taste but not overwhelming. Overall, I will make this recipe again, with or without the modifications I made tonight. I only wish I'd more bananas so I could make another one! Thank you!

This was just awesome. Made one loaf and my wife and two kids (and I) ate the whole thing in one day. Didn't have to change a thing.

I have made this recipe exactly as written and it is amazing. Lately I have made a healthier version by substituting applesauce for butter, using whole wheat flour, and truvia baking blend instead of brown sugar. Also added about 1 cup of chopped walnuts. The healthy version is also delicious!

This is my first time making banana bread. It tastes delicious. The bread is dense yet moist and flavourful. I added a few more bananas to the recipe ,6 in all, too!

There is no way this will fit in one 9x5 pan! Maybe 2? Other than that it was a very good recipe :)

Uses lots of bananas making the bread really dense. I would use this recipe again, however not as many bananas as it calls for.. I added cinnamon and vanilla to the recipe.. Delicious!

I just made this today. It is great. I added a half cup of chopped walnuts per request of my daughter. She really liked it too. I would have given it 5 stars if there weren't so many bowls, etc. to clean up ;) I doubled it so I can take one to work also.
