I followed the recipe exact and the fries burned. Also, I wasn't big on the seasonings. A simple Creole seasoning would be very comparable but would give it a little kick.

I just made these fries. My family prefers just simple salt and pepper seasonings for fries... This recipe cmight have been better without chili powder....

Heat oven to 450' Line jelly roll pan w/ parchment paper. Put 1/2 t each paprika, garlic, chili, & onion powder seasoning together so you can shake it on or sprinkle with your fingers. Slice large potato for french fries. Place on parchment paper using 1 T olive oil in hands - toss the fries. Then shake seasoning over all. Added garlic powder, seasoning salt and black pepper at the end of baking. Turn oven to 425' & flip over w/ spatula at 1/2 time. Watch 15' before done and check every 5'

This was both easy and excellent. I did cut the potatoes slightly smaller than large wedges and found the cooking time to be a bit long (mine burned), so I reduced time to 30 minutes. Also found them a bit greasy, so I cut down on the oil, but otherwise - it's a perfect recipe! (Other changes were that I didn't have garlic or onion powders, but used the rest of the ing's, and they were fine.) My 8yr-old daughter and I gobbled them up and made more! One big potato makes a LOT of fries for two people! Super dupe!

I just made these and they were delicious, hard to believe they were baked! I shook the potatoes in a bag with the oil and seasonings mentioned, and added salt and pepper. You can't add too much seasoning so go crazy if you wish. I am never gonna make homemade fries any other way again.

Delicious. I made them into ¼” sticks (like regular french fries) and therefore bumped the temp down to 425 and flipped after about 30 minutes. I also just used Lawry's seasoned salt instead of the other spices. They were crispy and so much better and healthier than anything you can get at a restaurant. I will make these many more times in the future

This recipe is amazingly tasty, and I only give four star because 450 is too hot so I had to do them at 400. I added Salish salt to the spices already listed and it was great.

Delicious...we found this recipe about a month ago and have made them a half a dozen times since. Minor changes we made - we use cajun seasoning instead of paprika. We also add a little hot sauce. This gives it a bigger kick.
