Easy, basic recipe. Based on other reviews, I halved the amount of sugar as I didn't want a sweet loaf. Also, I think less sugar makes for better tasting bread generally speaking.
I used the conversion to metric function and halved the amounts to make only a single loaf. Finally, I did the rise in a basket and turned out the bread onto a hot pizza stone in the oven, and had the temperature at 200C instead of the recommended 170C.
It turned out very well, was super easy to make and the pizza stone gave it a very nice crust.
I've made this bread twice now and both times it turned out great. I think in future I'll keep the sugar and add some dried fruit to make a raisin bread. I think it would work a treat.
