This recipe is awesome. It even freezes amazing! Made two cakes, froze one and it was moist as ever! A great way to use up zucchini.

Wonderful recipe! Very moist cake with chocolate and orange flavor. Got a, "yummy cake Mom" from my daughter who stated that she would not like it before she tasted it. Thank you for sharing your recipe!!

Very moist and very good. I took it to a family tea party and it was a hit. I had to cook it much longer than the recipe specified, about 20 minutes longer.

This cake was so good that my daughter requested that I make it for her birthday (which I did). I used white whole wheat flour and raw sugar. I also used all the zest from 1 very large orange (I'm sure that it was more than 1tbsp). I also added 1tsp of rum essence (it goes good with the chocolate and orange). One of the times I made it, I was out of milk and used light coconut milk instead - that was still good. Mine took an extra 10min every time before an inserted toothpick came out clean. We skipped the glaze altogether and didn't miss it.

This just didn't cut it for hubby and me. We are zucchini cake fans and none of the flavours in this one seemed to work together. In fact, there wasn't really any flavour that stood out! Also, it was overly moist and even with the non-stick pan greased and floured it stuck a bit. The glaze was bland too. Sorry, won't be making this one again.

Wonderfully rich, great with vanilla ice cream. I also made a chocolate ganache but used 3/4 cup cream with the zest of an orange, 9 oz. Semi sweet choc. chips & 1/4 cup orange juice. After bringing cream & zest to a boil, poured over choc. chips & stirred till smooth, then added the oj.
