Super moist and delicious! It's a rare occasion that I don't alter a recipe to fit my preferences, btu this was one of those exceptions! What a great recipe!!

i used this recipe for my first try at zucchini bread and it was great!! the only thing i did different is that i added more cinnmon...it made enough to share with co-workers and they all really enjoyed it. next time i'll try swapping out the oil for some apple sauce...but for the first go, i had to make the real thing. LOVED IT!

This is it!! My mom made zucchini bread long, long ago. I tried this recipe, and it tastes just like hers! My only change was to use pecans. Excellent!

This was a great, easy recipe. I cut the oil to 3/4 cup and the sugar to 1.5 cups. The outside had a nice crust and the inside was very moist. I would definitely make it again.

OMG..this is the BEST zucchini bread EVER! I have made other zucchini breads in the past, never to make again. This one will always be the one I make! The topping that the others have mentioned is GREAT! I added enough to cover the tops of my breads and then a little more...I still had more than enough topping left over that I didn't use. I also used 1/2 oil and 1/2 apple sauce, about 1/2 tsp nutmeg and about 1 cup more zucchini. This is such a moist bread, even a couple days later. Very flavorful! I made one with and one without the walnuts. My husband doesn't like zucchini but he loves this bread, especially the topping. Says it's the best zucchini bread he has ever had. Thanks for posting!

I modified this recipe by adding some nutmeg, applesauce and also ripe, mashed bananas. I made muffins instead and everyone loved them!!!

Thank you for sharing your recipe. The bread is so moist and perfectly sweet. My family and I gobbled it up! It was certainly the most delicious we've ever had.

love this recipe, been using it for years. now, on a new health kick, i have substituted 1 cup of strawberry puree for the oil. it makes these super healthier and utterly more fruity and delicious. i also do a dash of nutmeg, and a handful of whatever dried fruit is on hand...a la raisins, craisins, currants, etc... :)

this is my go to zucchini bread recipe, but i am only giving it 4 stars because i actually have to double the zucchini. otherwise everything is great. i also put brown sugar instead b/c it tastes better and a touch of nutmeg too! :)

Excellent. Made additions per others recommendations - nutmeg, applesauce and extra zucchini. Also added the topping mix. Made additional change - added chocolate chips to last batch (of double batch) and used less of the topping mix... tastes even better!

I have to admitt this is one of the BEST recipes for zucchini bread I have come across.I made a loaf for myself and when it came out of the oven of coarse I had to try it all I can say is yummy. As others I have had a zucchini bread recipe that I have used for year it has now been replaced. I also added 1/2 applesauce to try to cut calories a little and I also added a handfull of coconut and that just added to it. I suggest that everyone try this you won't regret it. Candy

Very good recipe. I used half apple sauce/half oil at the recommendation of others. I added the crumble topping, but think I will skip that next time. Overall, very good bread. It smelled heavenly while it was baking, and drew my roommates out of their rooms into the kitchen.

I have used this basic recipe & manipulated the ingredients often depending on mood. It has been great every time. I like substituting 1C oats for 1C of the flour.
