There is nothing "zippy" about this tuna salad. I'm sorry for saying this, but, I thought this was "the worst" tasting tuna salad I have ever made. After reading others reviews, I thought I'd give this a try, but the end results were disappointing. I wish I would of made a tuna casserole rather than making this sandwich!!

I liked this tuna salad, but then I prefer my tuna sweet. This is sweet but doesn't taste overwhelmingly like pineapple. I used 3 T. light mayo and 3 T. plain yogurt in an effort to cut a few calories. I like the crunchiness that the celery, onion, and especially the pecans give it. I did not find it to have enough Creole seasoning, tho, to warrant the title of being "zippy."

This has really good texture with the chopped celery, onions and nuts and even the eggs. I was a little wary of the pineapple but decided to try it as is. I couldn't taste the pineapple at all individually, just a little hint of sweetness. However, I also couldn't taste much of the Creole seasoning either so not very zippy. If you are looking at this for some punch, add more Creole seasoning, at least 1/2 teaspoon. Do a taste taste really and add enough until it has the right kick for your tastes.

I hate celery, so I increased the pecans to a 1/2 cup and tossed in a 1/4 cup of dried cranberries. Yummy, but I can't taste any of the seasoning and it was a bit too watery. I'll definitely be increasing the Creole seasoning to at least a full tsp next time, and I recommend draining the pineapple, reserving the juice and adding just enough at the end to achieve the desired consistency.

This was good! I didn't have the creole seasoning, but used everything else. It was really good, but nothing I would serve to guests or take to a potluck - thus only 3 stars. I will probably make something like this again for my family as I am trying to eat more fish. Thanks!

I must admit that the thought of pineapple and tuna together didn't sound appealing at first but was willing to give it a try. This was really, really good!! I was even out of celery and my husband hates nuts in his food but I'm sure the recipe is even better with these things included. Thanks for the tasty new way to try tuna salad!
