I look at all recipes as "starters" because my family's tastes are specific to us, not always the recipe. So that being said, this was a great way to get me to use zucchini when all I've ever made with it before was zucchini bread. I did look at it and thought it needed sauce, so I added a jar of alfredo. I used thawed broccoli, dried garlic and left over shrimp from a previous dinner(they had some old bay still on them). Turned out good. Gave it 4 stars for being a good use of veggies, pretty simple to make, it looked great and it's versatile - I could still be true to the recipe (ie. dried vs fresh garlic) with the alterations I made. I did not use the summer squash as I didn't have any on hand. I believe that the color from the squash would have made it brilliant though!

perfect summer recipe, we were able to get almost all the ingredients right from our own garden! The whole family loved it, including my 5 year old daughter. I expect this meal will get made often for us. Also great as a side for company

Everything was great but I used whole wheat pasta and the noodles were dry even with extra oil.

Very tasty. I used chicken and rotini pasta instead, and it was a very good meal.

This was FANTASTIC. It was actually one of the best things I think I've ever cooked and it was SO EASY. I made a few changes though. Being a bit of a health nut, I halved the pasta and used whole grain instead. I also doubled the garlic and the veggies, except for the carrots which I didn't use at all. Other than that, it was amazing and we will definitely be using this recipe at least a few times a month. Thanks for such a great recipe Jackie!
