This dish was quick and easy. I am going to go with a couple substitutions next time. Sour cream to cream of mushroom soup and green onions to white. I also used pepper jack cheese and it added just a little more kick that my family likes.

Omitted the mushrooms. Added Cream of Mushroom soup. Subbed white onions for green, and cheddar cheese. Really good. Very simple to make

This turned out ok. It wasn't great though. I thought my 4 year old would gobble it up, but she didn't even want to try it. I may make it again and change a couple of things to suit my family better.

This is good enough if you're looking for a quick casserole dinner. I had to substitute a few ingredients (jalepenos for green chiles, yellow onion, cheddar...) but it turned out to be a fairly tasty rendition.

I am giving it 5 stars because I only had half the ingredients I needed and it still turned out good. I live 50 miles from the nearest grocery store. I did not have mushroom nor the peppers had chedder chesse instead of monterey. I am going to add those ingredient I was missing to my grocery list and see how it does.

We really liked this recipe. I used extra cheese (I used colby jack) and added a fresh summer tomato or two which added a nice dimension. We'll keep this one around!

I've been cooking this for years. I've used many different types of cheese with it and occasionally I'll throw in other types of vegetables.

I loved this! I was so glad to find an easy recipe for a casserole that didn't have cream of mushroom soup in it. I made a few minor changes due to not having some things on hand (cheddar instead of Monterey Jack, white onion instead of green, yogurt instead of sour cream), but nothing major. Definitely going into the regulars!

This is really good. I alternated the recipe by adding another layer of spagetti sauce (homemade) and used bowtie noodles and added mozerella cheese. It is now one of our favorite dishes. Next time I'll try chicken strips. A good recipe to add ingredients too.

With a few minor adjustments, this dish is now a new favorite for us. I used rotini instead of rice and added 1 fresh jalapeno and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, DELICIOUS!! It would've been way too dry without the soup.

LOVED IT!!!!! This was a great go to on a night we had football and soccer practice. I used ground turkey, as that was all I had. I love pepperjack cheese so I used that instead and I put extra in. I also used the steam in a bag rice you find in the frozen section. This saved alot of time. The family loved it. This was a very QUICK and Tastey meal. I'll be making this on a regular basis.

It was nice and easy, but a little bland. I doubled the garlic, but it still needed a little something extra.

I omitted the rice and served this as a chili. Perfect for using a surplus of summer zucchini! Thanks for the recipe.

Surprising good!!! I wasn't sure on zucchini mixed with the green chilies but this had a nice blend of flavors. This was not spicy in the least so we enjoyed it.

This was a good meal four our family. My husband even got seconds! I didn't have chili powder so I used a packet of chili mix and it turned out well. It was a little bland, but that was my choice, I had to nix the green chiles or my kids wouldn't have eaten it! Overall it was a good meal and we will definitely make this again!
