Used 5 fresh boneless skinless chicken breasts. Put on high for 3 hours with 1/2 dinosaur brand bbq sauce and chicken broth. After 3 hours took out most of the sauce, shredded, and kept in some juice for the taste of the drippings, and poured out remainder of the bbq mixture. Set crock on low for additional hour. Lastly, turned crock on warm and let it "soak the juices up". Served with cole slaw Great for memorial day. Loved no fuss and spent time with family instead m To quote my husband, "I don't think there's a person out there that wouldn't like this". Defintely making again.

OK, I have been cooking for a while now, and am fairly godo with my slow cooker. Yet wen I do this recipe, following it to the letter, I get burnt, dried out chicken with the sauce caramelized to a black sludge. Every time I try to do 'bbq' in the slow cooker it's uniformly disastrous. I totally followed the instructions and everything, what the heck is going on?

I had to improvise but even that made these very fine chicken legs. Yummy. Another great way to fix chicken which is always needed. I thank you ever so much. I will use this one often.

This was amazing!! I have a smaller crockpot so i used 3 good sized fresh chicken breasts. Mixed the other ingredients like the recipe suggested and poured over the chicken. It cooked on high for 3 hours then i pulled the chicken apart & let it sit for another 30 mins (unplugged). I was surprised to see so many people say it was watery because mine was the perfect thickness. I used a 16oz bottle of origional Jack Daniels BBQ sauce so im not sure if that made a difference. I will definitely make this again.

This is now one of my favorite meals! I love to eat it over a baked potato. It is great for parties. Everyone I have fixed it for has loved it. It could not be easier. Only made a couple changes. I leave out the sugar because it made mine too sweet and i also shred the chicken after 5-6 hours, then let it cook for another hour and it soaks up the sauce. It is delicious! It also freezes and reheats well, so you can pull it out of the freezer for a quick and easy meal! Thanks so much for sharing and for everyone's helpful reviews. I love this site!
