I used pork loin. I would wait to add the BBQ sauce ( I used a homemade version and it watered down too much, in the crockpot).. Very moist, and great for sandwiches.

Very easy. Set it and forget it. Will definitely cook again. Taste even better the next day. The seasoning got a chance to set in.

This was super easy and so good to make! It was tasty to. I was worried about the italian dressing added to the sauce but it ended up being delicious! I will definately make this again!

This was great! Served on wheat buns with sweet potato fries and corn on the cob. It was a hit at our house! Then used the leftovers to make BBQ chicken pizza which was awesome! Thanks!

My husband and I love this recipe! It's so easy and tastes delicious. We use our favorite barbecue sauce instead of what the recipe calls for. So tasty!

Simple & sooo delicious! I actually did use a cheaper BBQ sauce that I had on hand & it worked fine. My younger kids liked it on buttered, browned rolls & the older kids liked it with the baked potato. The chicken I used wasn't fully thawed & I think that made the end result a little watery but the chicken was so tender & flavorful that it didn't seem to bother anyone. We will definitely be making this one of our favs!

I thought this was great! So easy and yummy. I have to agree with others though- make sure you use a quality BBQ sauce, and one that fits your tastes (sweet, spicy, etc)!

It was good, but there was too much sauce. I did have to thicken it at the end of cooking. I used a whole chicken (not cut up), and just put the whole chicken in the slow cooker and poured the sauce over it. At the end of the cooking time, I just pulled the bones out. I used Carolina Classic barbecue sauce, and served it with mashed potatoes, but it would also be good on rolls, or over baked potatoes. I didn't see that the Italian dressing and sugar added much to the flavor, and I'll probably leave them out next time, and just use half the bottle of barbecue sauce while it's cooking. I can always add the rest of the bottle when it's finished cooking, if it needs more.

This was great, we ate every bite. I used half the amount of sugar, bulls eye Bold Original bbq sauce and fresh skinless bone in chicken thighs instead of the frozen chicken breast. I also didnt shred the chicken but just left it on the bone. Served garlic mashed potatoes and corn on the cob on the side. Perfect dinner.

This stuff is seriously good. My husband says it's in his top 5 favortie recipes! After I shredded the chicken I made Pizza Dough 1 (on this site), spread the chicken over the dough, added green onions, cilantro (bacon optional) and some cheese and baked. This recipe made 2 large BBQ Chicken Pizzas. Very tasty. If Sweet Baby Rays sauce is avalible in your area, it's worth using!

This was terrific! I used fresh chicken -- Harvestland all-natural chicken breasts, which are big and plump so I used only 5. Besides that, I used the exact directions, with 12 ounces of Michelbobs bbq sauce and some no-name Italian dressing (didn't think it would matter; I was right). I followed Audrea Rose's suggestion and cooked the chicken for 3 hours on high, then shredded it and cooked for one hour on low. Then I drained it a little in a colander and made a sandwich. Totally delicious. Thanks!

We really liked this recipe. I used baby ray's bbq sauce and it was perfect. After it cooked for about 6 hours I shredded the chicken and added more bbq sauce and cooked for another hour or so while I was baking the potatoes. Some shredded cheese and sour cream on top and it was very good. Thanks for sharing!
