This was awesome. I had just enough liquid after cooking to make the bbq saucy not drippy. I don't know how I managed that when others didn't, but it was great and everyone loved it. Will definately make this again!

My huband and I really enjoyed this. It was very simple and I prepared everything the night before. We used a thicker BBQ sauce and I thought it the italian dressing gave it a nice kick. The chicken was moist and it made a ton of sandwiches. I will definitely use this again.

This is easy, but it tastes a bit strange. I think it may have been the Italian dressing. The chicken was dry and the sauce was watery. It was edible but no one really seemed to be in love with the dish.

This is a great recipe. Making it for the office "Big Texas BBQ" lunch. Made suggested changes by other reviewers. Will make again with all the different Jack Daniels sauce flavors. Thanks Zanne.

I love this recipe - especially that it calls for frozen chicken breasts!! Anytime I make this meal, people ask for the recipe! I've also started using the leftover chicken to make a bbq chicken pizza the next night for dinner.

Very tasty! I used a whole fresh chicken that I skinned and cut into pieces. I also added 1/2 of a chopped onion, 3 cloves chopped garlic and 1 TBSP white distilled vinegar. After about 5 hours, I removed the chicken from the bones, shredded it and returned it to the pot. I turned the heat to high and cooked without the lid to thicken the sauce for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally. A family hit!

AMAZING. I didn't have Italian dressing, so I used Greek dressing with feta. I used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce and the results were amazing. I put my oven on "Lo" Broil and toasted a couple of French rolls for about 2 minutes on each side. Fill with a generous amount of the BBQ chicken (pulled with 2 forks in the crock pot...), serve with your favorite Mac & Cheese and you got yourself a meal to remember.

A foolproof summer meal. I added onion like some of the other reviewers suggested and it turned out great. My boyfriend and I never eat leftovers, and we had bbq chicken sandwiches for lunch for the next two days. We will definitely throw this one together again. UPDATE: I made this again for my sons first b-day. I needed a lot so I premixed the sauce into 6 batches and prepackages the chicken and distributed it to vaarious family members to put in their slowcookers. I forgot to add the onions this time, but it was still delicious! Everybody saidhow great it was.

I add cup of yellow onion, some garlic as well. I put 1/2 cup of onion for the first two hours in the slow cooker then the rest two hours later. I keep on adding bbq sauce as it cooks. I like to serve this on a wheat bun, really really good.

Really great, husband loved it - served on french bread, sprinkled with cheddar. I used the Jack Daniels honey bbq sauce.. I think it's a quality product, but if you use a "honey" or "sweet" bbq sauce, you probably should cut back on the brown sugar (maybe half or none at all) that the recipe itself calls for. Will definitely make again with that only change.

Perfect! I didn't have any Italian dressing so I made my own using olive oil, vinegar and Italian spices. I cut the recipe in half since it was only my boyfriend and I and cooked it on the stove top in a large sautee pan on low for 1 1/2 hours. I also made some baked sweet potatoes on the side. Great comfort food without the guilt! I will definitely do this again.
