What an awesome recipe!!! I bought about 2lbs of fresh boneless skinless chicken breast (did not use frozen)~ put in my crock-pot seasoned with garlic salt and onion powder~poured the mixture over the chicken(I used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce)~on high for about 3 1/2 hours then took the lid off shredded the chicken stirred really good to incorporate the sauce~ put the lid on for about another 1/2 hour. My husband ate his over a baked potatoe sprinkled with cheese and chives (AWESOME) I ate mine on a pretzel roll (AWESOME) Later that night I made BBQ chicken nachos (FREAKIN AWESOME) I will make this all the time!!! I gave the recipe to my mom and she is going to make it tomorrow with some boneless pork-chops she has in the freezer~ so we will see how it turns out. Thanks for a great recipe :)

Delicious! I used less chicken (3 large breasts) but otherwise followed the recipe as is. I served it over baked potatoes with broccoli and cheese. Will definitely make again, no changes.

Very good recipe. My husband actually prefers this over our pulled pork sandwiches. The only differnce I did is I used the whole bottle of my Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce which was 16oz. I also after and hour and half of cooking just the chicken with some water on high, drained the fat from the dish, then continued cooking for another 6.5 hours on low with the then added sauce.

wow! This recipe was delicious and spot on! I used Famous Dave's BBQ sauce (the best in my opinion) and defrosted the chicken breasts like some other reviewers recommended to keep the liquid down. My hubby and I loved love loved this and will definitely be a keeper in our recipe books!

WOW, this was wonderful. Thank you. Thank you. Everyone loved this Zesty slow cooked Chichen For once I was the one getting all the compliments. I used a citrus based barbeque sauce, added peppers, onions, celery, carrots, a 1/4 cup of lemon marmalade, and used boneless chicken. The chicken was fall apart tasty and the veggies kept their bright color. It not only looked great but tasted perfect. A sweet tangy style chicken. My husband wants me to make this again just for our family not a big pta event. : )

WOW, WOW, WOW! One of the best meals I have made in a while, yet sooooo super easy!! I followed the recipe except I didn't use the entire bottle of BBQ sauce. I served over a baked potato with butter and sour cream! Delicious!!!

Oh my gosh! This was so good!! My husband said that it tasted like "restaurant quality" barbecue. I made a few changes for what I had on hand. I only used 4 chicken breast halves that were fresh that I cooked on low for about 5 hours. I then shredded and put back in to cook for about an hour more. I used Jack Daniel's original recipe and it was delicious! I also threw in some chopped onion and some molasses. I served with corn on the cob. This will be a regular in my house!

We had this tonight for dinner! I left out the brown sugar because I used a sweet bbq sauce and added green peppers, red peppers, and red onion to the mix. I followed another review and placed the chicken on sandwich styles rolls. It made a great easy dinner for my husband and I! Will be sharing this recipe with my family for sure.

My husband requests this all the time. It is so EASY and TASTY so I make it when he asks. I don't change the recipe at all, super tasty just as is. I do agree with other reviewers, don't use an el cheapo brand of bbq sauce it does affect the flavor. We like to use the left over sauce on cold cut sandwiches and as a dip for chicken nuggets...etc...

Very good recipe and soooooooo easy. I made the recipe exactly as written with Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce. My husband and I ate it all week (talk about easy!) for dinner. He also recommended that we put this recipe into the normal rotation.......I will!

This was awesome! It was just as good, if not better than, our local bbq joint. BBQ sauce I used (and only ever use) was Sweet Baby Ray's. I made a few changes to the directions, I boiled my chicken for at least an hour to make it really tender and falls apart easily, while that was boiling, I put all ingredients in crock pot and let simmer while chix was cooking, and after I added chix, just let it cook on high for about 2 hrs and I felt it was long enough, flavors melded good. Next time I would probably just do on stove, I didn't feel it was necessary to do in crockpot, unless I won't be home and wanted to come home to a cooked meal.

I absolutly LOVED this recipe. I used Honey Hickory BBQ sauce and alone it's a little spicy but with the tangy Italian dressing, it was amazing! I shredded the pork and put it on hamburger buns. I ommited the Worcestershire sauce since I didn't have any on hand and it was absolutly delicious! Will make again.

I used bone-in breasts. I shredded one of them. Both ways are absolutely delicious. Used mixture of Splenda-brown sugar and worked well.

This recipe was excellent! This will definitely become a regular in our house. Even my extremely picky toddler ate every bit (without complaint!). I used Kraft's Honey & Hickory barbeque sauce and only used a little over 1/8th cup of brown sugar. It came out tasting not too sweet and with a hint of a smokey flavor. Perfect! :)
