I followed this recipe exactly, and did not care much for the chicken, the breasts seemed very dry even though they were in the juices....however if you pull the chicken apart it totally changes it into delicious. One little note the recipe calls for 1 (12 oz) bottle bbq sauce. I could not find a 12 oz. bottle of sauce so it had to be measured, it may be possible to just use 18 oz. with no problem.

Couldn't be easier! I didn't have Italian dressing on hand so I used Balsamic Vinegarette. I still prefer to make my own bbq sauce, but this came together so quickly, sometimes that's more important.

Excellent! I have made this on multiple occasions for picnics, dinner, etc. It is always a big hit. Much easier to make than pulled pork and tastes just as great!

Excellent recipe and so easy to throw together! I thickened the sauce so it would stay with the chicken on the ciabatta rolls, and served with sliced onions & sliced cheese. Low fat and delicious!

This was pretty good. My husband really enjoyed it. I would not recommend using a crock pot on the low setting for more than 6 hours though. Only use the high setting for a shorter duration. Any longer and the chicken get REALLY dry. I may try this recipe again someday.

You would have thought this chicken had been grilled, it was so good. My husband and I could smell the sauce as the day wore on and this kept us waiting until the time we could eat.

Amazing!! We loved this on top of BBQ Baked Potatoes and as BBQ Chicken Sandwiches for leftovers. The flavor gets even better the next day. I shredded my chicken about an hour before I was going to serve it and the extra liquid was absorbed perfectly. We will definitely be making this again and again!!!

I had enough time to cook only on high, I think low would have been a bit better. If you use "Sweet Baby Ray's Barbeque Sauce" you should cut down on the brown sugar! I had to use soy sauce as I did not have the Worchestire sauce (sp), and I threw in some of the oil and vinegar dressing I had, as I had no Italian per se. Barbeque recipes are very forgiving. I did shred the chicken, a good idea, and was glad I had put a specialized plastic bag in the crock pot so the sauce did not burn on. Served over baked potatoes was delicious. With small chicken breasts, only about 4 - 5 ounces each, it makes enough for about 4 people. This could be doubled in a large slow cooker, I imagine, for a party.

This was okay. The chicken came out too dry, and didn't have much flavor. Just seemed plain.

It was pretty easy to make. I thought it was very good...but not amazing like I was hoping. I made it for a larger crowd, so I increased the amounts. It was watery at the end but the chicken was tender and everyone said it was good. it is def an easy recipe when making food for a crowd!

The sauce in mine was really thin but I shredded it and put it back to cook for 30 more minutes, and the shredded chicken absorbed the excess moisture so it was the perfect consistency. I added a chopped onion.

This was absolutely AWESOME! I used Jack Daniels Hickory Honey BBQ sauce. I thought shredding it would be difficult, but I just put a chunk of cooked chicken on a cutting board and used a fork in each hand to pull it apart. My husband likes onions, so I added a 1/3 cup chopped onion about 45 minutes before we ate. Served over potatos with cheese and onion, topped with sour cream. I cant wait to try this on hoagie rolls, or hamburger buns. Mmmmm MMMM Awesome!! (and so easy)

This was super easy and the results were simply wonderful. The dressing through me for a loop but when i took my first bite I was blown away. Next time I will use a better brand of BBQ but the results were still good. I know it's good when my husband raves about it. This recipe is a keeper!

I was surprised at how tender and flavorful this was. I added onion and minced garlic. I think that it ends up watery because so many packages of chicken today have a solution injected (as disclosed on the label)...you just have to cook it a little while with the lid off. Very simple and good.
