I love how simple this is to prepare. I did defrost the chicken breasts a bit beforehand, and when I make things for the slow cooker I tend to prepare it the night before, pop it in the fridge, then put in the slow cooker. So my chicken was probably mostly defrosted by the time it went in. I kept it on low all day and when it came time to eat, shredded it and served on buns. Bf really liked it; I thought it was okay, but I am not the biggest fan of bbq sauce anyway. It's definitely something I'll make again bc it is so easy and a great quick meal for weekdays. Thanks!

Excellent!! I have made this several times for big groups and have gotten rave reviews every time! I add chopped onions and fresh minced garlic. I also use half sweet/half spicy BBQ sauce. Gives it just a little kick. Turns out much better when use frozen breasts and cook on low all day. This is a keeper!!

This is a great recipe! I had to cook my chick on HIGH due to time but it still turned out excellent. I shredded my chicken after it had been in the crockpot for about 2 1/2 hours which worked perfectly. I'll be making this recipe again!

Yum! But what isn't good smothered in BBQ sauce? I followed the recipe exactly. The sauce looked to runny, but shredding the chicken took care of that. This was a great way to use up some frozen chicken breasts I had in the freezer. Will be making again, because everyone loved this. Thanks!

This was very good...not quite a five star recipe but that probably has to do with the quality of BBQ sauce I used and not the recipe itself. I used dry salad mix instead of dressing. It cooked on high for about three hours, then I shredded it and put it back in for another half an hour, then served it on toasted hamburger buns. My husband loved it!

Everyone loved this recipe. I have a family of five and there wasnt enough to go around, I would use 2 packs of chicken breasts next time.

This was such a nice easy camping recipe. I dumped everything in the crock pot and forgot all about it until we were hungry enough to eat. I followed the recipe as is, though I doubled it to have enough to cover my 6-8 smallish chicken breasts. I don't like BBQ, so I didn't eat any, but my DH and 2 dinner guests all raved about it and were looking forward to leftovers, so I'm going to have to say it's a keeper. I really like how easy it is! TY!

This was very easy and yummy. I took the advice of others and shredded the chicken and added it back to the sauce to thicken. Quick and easy meal for a busy weeknight/weekend.

Followed the recipe exactly. Cooked on high for 4 hours. Found the chicken came out too dry if you plan on eating a whole breast. So I shredded it and stirred it back into the sauce. This way it was perfect! Wonderful flavor. I use Master Piece BBQ sauce. Served it on buns with potato salad to accommodate the meal. A great summer dinner. My daughter and boyfriend loved it!!

Incredible! We also stuck right to the recipe, while taking others' advice and adding a bit of onion and minced garlic. We used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. We also topped it with Swiss right before eating. Just great! We'll definitely be enjoying this again and again!

This one gets 4 stars because my husband really liked it but I thought it was just ok. As suggested, I used the Jack Daniels bbq sauce. I will make this again since he liked it so much but will try another brand of bbq sauce.
