yummy-like pulled pork. I used one 18 oz bottle of BBQ sauce, thicken with about 2-3 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with about 2 tablespoons of water.

i made this and it was very easy and good. I only used 3 chicken breasts since it is just me and the DH. Otherwise it would have been bbq chicken for a week and a half! :) very easy and a good change from bbq pork :)

I made this according to the recipe and it turned out great! I used Sticky Fingers barbeque sauce. I served it over baked potatoes just like the picture and the whole family loved it.

I followed another reviewer's recommendation and slow cooked the chicken breasts for about 6 hours in chicken broth and onions. Then I drained and shredded the chicken and added a bottle of Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce and cooked on low for another hour or two. This turned out great! I also used the leftovers to make quesadillas the next night with cheddar, green onions and cilantro. Will make again.

Although convenient, it was WAY too sweet!! The sugar is not needed given that sugar is the MAIN ingredient in BBQ sauce. We won't be doing this again. There was no variance of flavour on our palates, you just were left with sweet.

Wow, you absolutely can't go wrong with this one! This came together in a snap and was delicious on buns with sliced pickles. I used Bob Evans Wildfire sauce, delish. Freezes well, too. What a great recipe for a crowd! A definite keeper!

I used Bubba's Best BBQ Sauce as part of this recipe, and it was unstinkin' believable. My wife and I both loved it.

I made this for a large birthday party. It was a wonderful hit! I used 7 boneless/skinless chicken breasts and added 1/2 chopped onion to the sauce. Everyone raved. I will be making again for the next large group I need to feed.

I defrosted some boneless chicken breasts (thought there were 3 or 4 halves in the pkg but there were only 2) and put them in the slow cooker, reducing the recipe since it calls for 6 halves. The house filled with an absolutely wonderful aroma. I used KC Masterpiece Original BBQ sauce and homemade Italian dressing. After a few hours on high I turned the cooker to low and let them sit until all were home for dinner. Taking someone else's advice I shredded/chopped up the chicken in the cooker about 30 mins before serving and let it absorb the sauce. Served on bread, it was divine. The family could not get enough, I wish there were leftovers for today.

I did it exactly to the recipe - 5 hours on low, shredding chicken at 3 hrs. I used one entire bag (2 lb) of Publix frozen chicken tenderloins. With that (880 cal) and 70 cal per tbsp. BBQ sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's), it ends up right at 2000 calories. Add potatoes (160 per medium) or buns, and you've got a nice meal for the 3 of us with leftovers! Loved it. Thank you, Zanne! :-)

WOW! I made this for the second time today. The first time it was just me and my husband and we had leftovers for three days...that was too much, ha ha, even though it was delicous! (I served it on baked potato, then red rice, then soft rolls. Preferred the rolls. I'm feeding three men and three women tonight, including myself and there will be plenty to go around. Serving over rice and mixed veggies, with biscuits on the side, to ensure the diners can sop up that incredible sauce! I added half a chopped onion about an hour before the chicken was done cooking. I 'pulled' it about two hours before it was done. I cooked it for eight hours total. Don't worry, the sauce thickens! I used Kraft Hickory BBQ Sauce, an entire bottle and added a very generous amount of fresh ground pepper (a must in almost everything I cook). My Mom, who is VERY picky about what she eats (and who cooks it, ha ha), got to sample this dish a few moments ago and she LOVED it. Absolutely loved it. All she could say at first was "mmmmmmmmm" and she asked for another sample, ha ha. She said it's flavourful and the perfect balance of sweet and BBQ-y. My Mom's approval? Priceless. It must be good.
