I made these for Easter Brunch. They were easy to prepare and tasted great. I followed the exact directions...and didn't care about the butter. Yummy. My husband said to put them on the make again list.

This was very good and VERY EASY to prepare!! It was a bit greasy so i suggest using less butter maybe.

delicious recipe! no onion for me, but lots of garlic and red pepper seasoning. broiled for the last 4 mins on high and they came out crispy and tender. greasy? well that's what i call butterlicious!

I fixed this using liquid Butter Buds instead of butter. It took way longer than an hour to cook and I had to finish it off in the microwave for 5 minutes before the potatoes were tender. I stirred the potatoes a couple times while they were cooking to spread the liquid around. Very tasty. It also had no grease or oil as the Butter Buds has none, also no fat or calories, just the buttery taste.

I made this last night for dinner and I can't wait to prepare it again. I also made a few adjustments as suggested by others. I cut the butter required in half, and I added real bacon bits and cheese. Wonderful dish.
