Wanted something different than package Italian dressing for a salad tonight ! Made this and took a chef's taste and found it delicious! Maybe I'll tweak it down the road but I believe you have to make it, let it sit and refrigerate, and then see if tweaks are necessary. That's the beauty of trying a recipe in the first place. Making changes beforehand defeats the purpose ! I get so annoyed with people that say , " I loved it but made these changes. ( Before you made it the first time ? ) They never say, " I made this once or twice and then I ... .) A good seasoned cook can read several recipes of the same thing and pick one that seems to suit their family better. Try it once or twice then say you tweaked it. Just sayin' ! : )

MAN is this good!!! If you're a Catalina dressing lover, your search is over! I make a reduced-carb version using Splenda and low-sugar ketchup, and it's still fabulous.

My Son loves French dressing and I was out...didn't want to run to the grocery store, so I tried this recipe...his reaction: "WOW! That's GREAT!" Thanks!

DELICIOUS... I used the servings OPTION feature to take this down to just 2 servings. Also I didn't have sugar around so I used honey instead (just less since honey renders the dressing sweeter). Turned out just absolutely delicious. No more bottled "junk" for us. Thanks for the recipe.

Absolutely delicious. I made only one minor change - used 1/3 cup of vegetable oil and 1/3 cup of olive oil instead of 2/3 cup vegetable oiol because olive oil is said to be more heart healthy. This is much better than any bottled dressing and you know what is in it!

This is my absolute favorite dressing. I agree with the other reviews regarding cutting down the sugar by about half. To add an extra little "kick," toss in some blue cheese crumbles and some fresh parmesan once it has been all fully mixed in the processor. I usually just hit the button on the processor a couple more times to get it mixed without totally obliterating it! Delicious.

This was really good. I have always used the dressing that called for more ketsup. But I think we found a new favorite!
