This has changed forever how I do quick-and-easy broccoli. I used to just throw it in a pot and boil it. No more. This is great. The broccoli is exactly the tenderness I want and tastes great with very little extra effort.

This was very good. I added a little more garlic and about 1/2 tsp of sugar along with 4-5 sliced white mushrooms and my family went crazy for it. Deffinately will make this again.

I changed the way I cooked the broccoli. I roasted (instead of boiling) the broccoli, that I tossed with the olive oil, garlic, salt and crushed red pepper. Both my oldest son and I thought this was one of the best ways I've prepared broccoli yet.

Good, but I didn't find it to be all that zesty. I didn't bother to drain the water, I just quickly cooked it off. Topped with a little Parmesan cheese. Hubby ate it so that's good!

I gave this recipe 5 stars because the broccoli cooks perfectly everytime. My broccoli does not pick up much of the garlic flavor but we love it anyway.

Excellent cooking method! Used more olive oil, more garlic and freshly ground black pepper rather than the red pepper flakes. Needed a little longer cooking time for my desired degree of doneness, about eight minutes. Gave it a squeeze of fresh lemon and a drizzle of melted butter at the end.

Yummy! I tend to overcook vegetables, but this recipe made me realize that i don't have to cook them long to be good.
