Zesty Beef Roast
SUBMITTED BY:
Joan Enerson
"One day when I ran out of ketchup, I substituted horseradish in the sauce for the meatballs I was making. It was delicious, so next I decided to try it on a roast. It, too, was a winner."

My husband had me make this TWICE within 2 weeks, that's how much he/we loved it! And I wouldn't change a thing to it - perfect just the way it is!!!

This roast was excellent! I was a little skeptical because although I love horseradish I thought it may be a bit much but like garlic when you roast it, it seems to get mellower and sweeter. Added some carrots and garlic to the pan and was loved by all!! Thanks!!!

I followed the recipe exactly, yet I found this to be pretty tasteless and almost sweet. The roast was very tender and was good with gravy, but I won't be using this recipe again.
