Delish! This is such a simple marinade, I wasn't expecting much, but I was totally surprised with the excellent flavor it gave my chicken. My husband is from a family of hard core BBQers, and he couldn't stop raving about it. I added two cloves of crushed garlic to the marinade, otherwise, followed it as written. Thanks for the great recipe. I'll use this one all summer!

This recipe was outstanding my hubby said it tasted like the skewers we order at a local Vietnamese restaurant. I made two batches of the marinade one for the chicken and one for the veggies in the veggie marinade I substituted the vegetable oil with sesame oil.Chicken was delicious juicy and tender everyone loved it, the kids even gobbled up the veggies, I used cherry tomatoes, onions, red and green peppers and mushrooms. I didn't think it was going to be as great as it was because of the simple ingredients but now it will be on our regular summer menu!

Thank you for a great recipe. I know my family will enjoy it often. My somewhat picky DD even loved it. I did double the marinade and put the veggies in one bag and chicken in the other. I boiled the marinade from the veggie bag to serve on the side for dipping and to pour over rice. So good!!

This marinade was super easy to make. I made for my party Friday night & used zuchini, squash, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. I marinated everything for about 3 hours and cooked about 20 minutes on the grill. Every piece was eaten up! Thanks for reminding me to soak the skewers, I would have forgot!

Marinated my chicken for about 4 hours. Made as per the recipe. I used red pepper, pearl onions, and tomaotoes on my kabobs along w/ the chicken and had my husband grill the kabobs low and slow and nothing burnt. They were great. Dont forget to soak your skewers in water so they dont burn.

Wonderful marinade recipe. Adds to the taste of the vegatables instead of overpowering them like some marinades do. A must try!

Delicious, tender succulent chicken! I added more garlic since my family loves it. I also skewed fresh pineapple chunks, grape tomatoes and red onion. Marinate for a long time, the flavors seep in better. Definitely soak your bamboo skewers in advance so they don't burn!

The fam thought it was great. This was part of our memorial day weekend BBQ. Wow!! OK - so I also added a little Kentucky Bourbon....I could swear someone thought it needed a little more acid... :-)

One of the best sauces I've used. The chicken was fantastic and moist. Even the next day when I tossed the leftovers into a salad!

This is a good marinade. I actually cooked the chicken two different ways because I ran out of propane after I cooked the first batch on the outdoor grill. The second batch, I didn’t skewer. I just put the chicken chunks (no vegies) on a cookie sheet and broiled them. They turned out better and moister in the oven maybe because sugar (honey) likes to burn on the grill.

WOW, kids ate them up to of the pickiest eaters, added a little italian chicken seasoning as well. Didn't eat the rice or corn on the cob or the pineapple but they ate all the chicken. Me and momma helped to :)
