I really enjoyed this dish. I did not have the crackers so I used Panko bread crumbs instead. I also have two small kids at time and hate to dirty extra dishes so I just put the squash, onions, and milk mixture in the oven and baked it for 25 minutes. I also added chicken and sprinkled paprika, garlic powder and parsley into the milk mixture. After baking for 25 minutes, I then added all of the bread crumbs and cheese and baked it for an additional 10 minutes. Gonna add this to one of my favorites.
