I tried this and they raised, and I was hopeful but they didn't cook!! I baked them at the correct temp and I was left with dough balls I turned the temp down to 300 and that still did not cook the inside! I fallowed this to the T. Would NEVER recommended!

I just made these biscuits for dinner and it made about 30. There's only a dozen left and it was just my husband and I. It's definitely a keeper! He thought they were much better than the baking soda biscuits I usually make. I'm a "make do" cook, so use what's on hand. I had to use regular milk thickened with a little lemon juice.. and I used all white flour. It didn't hurt the recipe at all!!

The recipe makes 30 biscuits but I made 21. We'll be eating these biscuits for days. I probably made them too big although I didn't think I was when I was putting them on the pan but they rise a lot. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly. They are moist and taste good fresh out of the oven.
