Pretty good! My family never eats potato salad and they liked it! I used scallions instead of onions and let it chill overnight. Nice recipe, Thanks.

Excellent recipe. Will definately do again, especially for a pot luck. Made a bit much for my family of four. Next time I make it for the four of us, I'll cut the recipe in half. Thanks for sharing!

Well, Kaye... here's another rave review for you. My husband went ga-ga over this, and I truly enjoyed it as well. Of course I made my changes... I used 9 potatoes, had to go with 3 bunches scallions (hubs won't eat raw onion), added 5 diced sweet gherkins, 1 tsp. celery seed, pepper, garlic powder and dry mustard mixed into the dressing mix. I did not use the prepared mustard. Additionally, as others have already said, you really do need to double the cornstarch. I would not hesitate to serve this at a get together, and thanks for the recipe. Actually, my rating is 41/2 stars.

Excellent recipe. This is my new potato salad forever. My husband likes it and he doesn't like much of anything. I did add 1 tsp celery seed and a few chopped sweet pickles.

This is the best homemade potato salad I have ever had. I didn't have any celery, so I didn't use any, and also diced up 2 large dill pickles and added to it. This has to sit overnight for the flavors to mix properly. At first, I wasn't too sure about the taste, but the next day it was fabulous! Will 100% make again. I've already added it to my hand-written recipe box!

Truly the BEST! I did add a lot of minced sweet pickles and gherkins. For the vinegar I used 1/2 white & 1/2 apple cider vinegars. Amazing! I've had everyone raving over this tater salad! A must have for any summer event! Thanks for sharing!

I loved this recipe, I have never made Potato Salad before so I was a bit worried that I would mess up but it turned out great. I did add some pickels and olives to my batch but every one has diffrent tastes :) There was way to much dressing but that is no big deal :) I will defenitly make this again. My kids and hubby love it :)

This was great. I did make a few changes like adding sweet relish, celery seed and cutting the onion in half. My husband asked if I had stole his aunt's recipe. A friend of ours had a little that we had left over a couple days later, and said it was so good he went out the next day to get some from a store. He was so upset with it he ended up throwing out the store brought brand saying that after eating my potato salad and then eating that it didn't even compare and that I definitely had to make him some more so he could satisfy his craving. I have finally found a potato salad that can stand up to my husband's aunts recipe and I don't have to wait for holidays to get it!!! This will be my go to recipe from now on. Thanks this is a winner.

Not bad, but not the best. I doubled everything and had enough dressing for at least 4 batches. I recommend if you want to double it, only double the potatoes, celery, etc... (not the dressing).

My boyfriend wanted hamburgers and potato salad for his bday. I decided to make homemade. I've never made it before and was a little nervous. My mom made THE BEST homemade potato salad and I wanted it to be like hers. Everyone in the family always requested her potato salad ALL the time. She passed away in January and unfortunately she never got the opportunity to share her recipe with me. I changed a few things about this recipe. I added 1/2 cup chopped dill pickle, used green onion instead of white, and used red potato's instead of regular. Other than that, everything was the same.(NEW EDIT: must use 2 tsp cornstarch instead of one-it makes the PERFECT consistency). This potato salad was UNBELIEVABLE! I was THRILLED when my boyfriend and my dad said it was even better than mom's! They said she would be so proud of me! I bet she was in the kitchen helping me along. =) Thank you SO much for the recipe...it's just like mom's. I'll cherish it forever!

Not bad, but be carefull to check how much onion and what kind you use before making this! Everything was wonderfull but that. I love onion, but it absolutely ruined this as it was too much and too strong. I ended up throwing this out. Maybe try scallions instead.
