Wow! Like a lot of people, I have been looking for a really good potato salad recipe. This is by far and away the best I have ever tried. I have made it a few times already, and everyone who has tried it has agreed and asked for the recipe. Thanks very much for sharing it with everyone. The only addition I have made to the salad is purely for esthetics and that is to add paprika and green onion springled over the top just before serving.

I have been searching all my 6*something years for a good potato salad recipe. Not only did I find a 'good' one, I found THE BEST!! The dressing is by far the creamiest and most delicious I've ever had the pleasure of mixing in with potatoes and eggs. YUM-O!! Thank you very much for that! It'll be the one I'll make at all family functions from now on. No doubt I'll get rave reviews! Winnipeg, Canada

Fantastic Recipe! I followed the advice of 6 strips of cooked bacon, 2 tsp cornstarch and used less sugar (1/3 cup) This is the best I have ever tasted. Thank you so much for sharing it

I love this recipe! It is on the sweet side so, I just used 1/3 cup sugar instead. So creamy and yummy! Best potato salad I ever made. Thank you so much for this recipe! ^_^

I will say that this is a great potato salad recipe however it is a bit sweet for my taste. The next time I make it I will use less sugar. I used 1/3 C of sugar instead of 1/2 and it was great!

This is an EXCELLENT potatoe salad recipe. I made this for a 4th of July barbecue and several people said it was the best potatoe salad they EVER HAD. It take a long time to make - but be patient - it is worth the work. I backed down the sugar just a tad (just my personal preference). Kudos to Kate - one of the best recipes EVER!

Enjoyed this more than any I have had in years. At least since Mom stopped making potato salad. Was best after 24 hours in fridge.

Tastes great. Rather runny though, so next time I will try adding some cornstarch.

I have made this recipe a few times now and love it! This last time I made it for 4th of July BBQ and it was a big hit. There is one downside to this, it is addicting and I wanted to pick at it all day long. I needed to make a huge amount for our bbq so I made 2 5lb bags of potatoes with 20 eggs and then just tripled the dressing (made with 12oz evaporated milk as it was the only can I had on hand, It still came out creamy and delicous. Thanks for this recipe, this has been the only potato salad I will make anymore.

The name says it all! This is by far the best potato salad I have ever had let alone made! My husband is not a fan of potato salad and he actually went back for seconds, then thirds! This is definately the potato salad recipe I will be passing on to my children! Thanks

I really did not care for this potato salad. It was too sweet and too runny and I even added more cornstarch to try to thicken it up. I also thought it was a bit bland so I added more mustard and some dill relish.
