Pretty yummy but needs a few things. Personally I like more butter bread for breadsticks, so I used quite a bit more than called for... eeww. But I added garlic powder (would have perferred garlic salt) to the butter and it was yummy. No cheese added though. I had a very difficult time getting ANY of the broomsticks off the pan with out the stick or the bristles separating. But if you want simple - almost from scratch (no idea how baking mix and flour are different) breadsticks these work!

Cute idea, but it was difficult to make them look like brooms and not hands. Kids still ate them and either look goes with a Halloween theme.

A very fun and tasty recipe for Haloween. I made it with Rachel Ray's Harvest Moon Pasta and it was delish!

I give this 3.5 stars because it was more "biscuity" than bready. But when the main ingredients call for Bisquik, I guess I cant complain too much. I give it 4 stars for creativity and flavor. I made them for a Halloween party and everyone loved the idea and the flavor. I am not sure how much Italian seasoning and garlic powder I used, but enough that it tasted yummy! But I couldn't get past the biscuit texture. All in all, that averages a 3.5 in my book! lol I think next time I will use a different bread stick recipe and incorporate the same techniques for making the brooms and the flavors. :)

I followed the recipe exactly and they really weren't very good. My husband and kids said "they're just ok." Love the cuteness - but not the taste. I'm giving this 3-stars for the creative idea. But, next time I will use another bread recipe to make the broomsticks.

I made this recipe with my children. They had a blast and they were gone faster than we cold blink. we added a bit of italian seasoning and served them with a bit of butter. The children also followed the directions for making the cut part of the broom but spaced the cuts different and they mad cute dog paws. Thanks for the witchy family friendly recipe.
