It's quiet nice but too much oil,I would cut the amount of oil by half, salad suppose to be a healthy thing and I almost got a heart attack.

Brought this to a potluck. I ommitted the cheese and replaced the cashews with almonds and reduced the sugar by half. It was still very sweet. Anyhow it was a huge hit and a coworker who does not eat vegetables asked for the recipe. I am making this again this week and trying with the swiss cheese.

Loved the salad. I would use only half the salad dressing next time.

This is simply the best salad I've tasted. I alter it a little with dried cheries (my kids like it better that way). Also, I don't peel my fruits because it adds more color to the salad. I frequently omit the swiss cheese. Also, I use about 1/4 of the recommended dressing. This salad is a clear winner no matter how you fix it!

This is an excellent salad. I can't have it anymore because of the sugar, but when I did, I found it delicous.

I don't usually make "recipe salads," but this one is terrific, and the kind of accompaniment that defines a meal as special.

Great! I've hade a lemon poppyseed dressing that was creamy so I was happy to see that although sweet, it is not creamy (i.e. less fattening!). I don't have a food processor, so I just mixed quickly. Don't know if having a foor processor would alleviate problem with separation, if only a bit, but still good. The dressing is too much for the amount of lettuce I have. I don't think you'll need that much unless you want it smothered. Didn't add the onion, used dried cherries rather than dried cranberries, blue cheese rather than Swiss (although as another reviewer suggested, may not include cheese at all next time), used olice oil used slivered almonds rather than cashews.

This is an excellent salad. I always put in mangos and fresh strawberries, -instead of the two fruits she adds. It gets raves all the time! You could add some sugar baked pecans instead of the cashews. I'll have to try it that way! Aw, heck, it's good the way it is!

OMG! This is the BEST salad! The only thing I did different was to add some walnuts and dried cranberries. The dressing is extremely refreshing and delicious! You can't go wrong with this recipe!

I scaled this in half to serve just 4 of us and wow, it is really good. The dressing is fantastic. You can blend it up ahead of time and keep in the fridge till you are ready to throw the salad together. The flavors in the salad go so well together and you could really sub anything you like. Next time I will use spinach and maybe sub gorgonzola for the swiss. Thanks for this one! I will make often.

This salad is great! I always receive many compliments. I've had to give out the recipe numerous times. Although somewhat time consuming, it is worth the effort! I love fruit and nuts in my salad so this recipe was right up my alley!

A reviewer said the dressing reminded them of lemon juice and they were right! After reading reviews I cut the sugar down to 1/3 cup and substituted blue cheese for swiss. My book club loved it.
