If you are looking for a special steak for your sweetie, look no further. This takes less than thirty minutes from start to finish; less if you choose to broil instead of BBQ. Flavorful and easy, this steak is tough to beat. I serve this with brown and serve sourdough bread or rolls. If you're really hungry, crumble some additional bacon and add a baked potato. Add candles and a bottle of full bodied red wine (like a cabernet from the Alexander Valley) for a romantic evening.

Steak Subs

This makes a great fast meal that can be frozen into separate servings. Not only can you make subs, but the meat is great to throw into stir fry.

Great recipe for grilled steaks that does not require marinating for several hours. Rub the steaks with oil and garlic, salt and pepper to taste, and when the coals are ready, throw the steaks on the grate. Fresh rosemary is placed on top of the meat while grilling.

All you need for this is olive oil, Canadian steak seasoning, meat tenderizer, and a grill. The steak gets a 20-minute marinade before cooking.

Grilled Fajita Steak Salad With Pickled Pink Onions

A homemade rub, made with cumin and salt and pepper seasons the steak before it goes on the grill, and fresh lime juice and minced fresh garlic are used in the post-grill marinade. Red and yellow peppers are grilled at the same time as the beef. Both the meat and veggies are sliced into strips, and then tossed with salad greens and a simple lime dressing.

This steak marinade is just awesome! Serve with a good, quality dark beer. The cut of the meat doesn't really matter too much in my opinion, though I do prefer New York Strips personally. I also like to saute some fresh mushrooms and onion in a bit of olive oil, and add them to the sauce.

You HAVE to let this steak sit overnight. Don't bother making it if you can't put in the time, because the payoff is worth it. This staple in our household is a favorite of all who try it! You can BBQ in summer or broil in the winter for a perfect, filling meal. I like corn on the cob and some sort of rice to complement this mouth watering steak.

This marinade is great for beef or chicken. The Worcestershire sauce and Italian-style dressing give the marinade a zing, while the garlic pepper seasoning and barbeque sauce give it that barbeque flavor. The longer the beef or chicken sits in the marinade, the better it will taste.
