This is a good, simple casserole that would be a great way to use turkey leftovers. If you don't have/like canned soup, make your own white sauce or use some leftover gravy. I used bread heels and tossed them with a half tsp. of poultry seasoning. I had leftover basmati rice from Trader Joes that I had cooked in broth. I cooked the wild rice separately and mixed them together. I used leftover chicken thighs this time, but will try with leftover turkey after Thanksgiving.

Very Yummy! And a great way to use leftover thanksgiving turkey. I added about a 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese. Will make again!

We enjoyed this casserole very much. It was very easy and tasty, and the leftovers are good, too. The water chestnuts give it a nice crunch. The only change I made was to double the bread crumbs, and add 1/4 cup shredded cheddar to the crumbs before topping the casserole. Thanks for the post, I'll be making it again.

It was ok. I think that it was flavored just right. And we loved the bread crumbs on top. I used italian flavored bread crumbs which gave it a little something extra. Not bad.

I made this exactly according to the recipe. I thought the soy sauce was a bit much, but my husband said "no way". This was a great way to use up leftover turkey breast.

This was a big hit with my family! It was easy to prepare and a great way to use up the leftover turkey bits. Next time I may add some canned green beans to the dish, but otherwise, no changes!

This was very tasty and very easy! I didn't have any cream of chicken soup so I used a can of chicken gravy instead. I also topped it with some shredded cheddar cheese mixed in with the buttery bread crumbs and that was a nice addition. Four stars as a next day reheated lunch but definitely a five star fresh from the oven dinner!!
