Cube steaks are battered and breaded, then fried and served with a squeeze of lemon juice. This is a family favorite of ours, my mom got the recipe from a German lady when we lived in Germany.

I don't have a clue where my Dad got this particular recipe, but he used to build it during hunting season when we had fresh venison (elk, antelope, mule or whitetail deer), 'hanging and aging'. I still make it when the opportunity presents itself.

Both my mother and father were Viennese and grew up there. This was my mother's recipe. Veal can also be used in place of pork.

This easy German recipe is one of our favorites. Boneless pork chops can also be substituted for veal and taste excellent!

This is a hot meat sauce that is put on hot dogs (wieners) here in Rhode Island. It's usually added after the mustard and chopped onions and topped with celery salt.

A homemade wheat dough makes these 'pigs in a blanket' stand out from all other varieties. They go great with a cup of soup or are a nice snack by themselves.

This hearty, flavorful wiener sauce is like the kind you'll find in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. It may be frozen until ready for use. Use premium grilled wieners cooked in butter, steamed hot dog buns and the fancy mustard of your choice. Spread with mustard, the sauce, chopped onions and celery salt.
