"Baked meatballs are simmered in a creamy tomato sauce with penne pasta and grated cheese."
Watch video tips and tricks
1 (12 ounce) box
Barilla® White Fiber Mini Penne
garlic, chopped, divided
white bread soaked in water
grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, divided
chopped fresh parsley
salt and black pepper to taste
extra virgin olive oil
1 (18 ounce) can
San Marzano tomatoes
I could eat 5 bowls of this - the meatballs are so easy to make and are delicious, I used the white fiber penne but I think another kind of pasta would work here too (spaghetti, for example). My kid cousins loved it too and they are the pickiest eaters I know.
