These were light, delicate and quite delicious. But I knocked off one star because they were slightly drier than I would have wanted. But if you like the light and delicate type of cookie, I'd recommend it to you.

These were the best cookies...ever. I went looking for a recipe, saw the review, and had to write one myself. i like the note about if your nuts are salted, leave out some of the salt. They taste AMAZING!

These were the best macadamia nut cookies I have had! The almond extract really made a difference. I only cooked them for 8 minutes instead of 10 because I like my cookies a little softer and more underdone. My whole family enjoyed these cookies

These were absolutely unbelievable. The almond extract is what makes all the difference. My mom actually said these were my best cookies ever!

These cookies were amazing! I took the advice of others and use 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening. I also used all vanilla extract because i didnt have almond. Probably the best cookies i've ever made from scratch. I wish they were more cookie like. They weren't flat cookies, more cake-like. But that was perfectly fine with me. Delicious either way. I will definitely keep this recipe for future use.

These were great! I did use 1/2 butter and 1/2 butter flavored shortening. I did NOT cut down on the vanilla or almond and they were perfect!

My sister loves white choc./macadamia cookies and she thought these were fantastic! I halved the recipe, so it made around 30. I also toasted the nuts in a dry pan over med-high heat, shaking constantly and this gave them 'something' extra!

absolutely delish. i followed the directions exactly even going by the "drop by teaspoonfuls" but i made A LOT more that 48. more like 100 and even then they weren't very small.... did cook for a little less time but that's cause my cookie were smaller.

I did the 1/2 butter, 1/2 shortening thing and also used vanilla extract instead of almond. They were amazing, I just wish macadamia nuts weren't so expensive. Also, I would recommend leaving out the salt if the nuts you buy are pre-salted.

Cookies were a little too cakey and crumbly for my liking. Second time I made them, I cut the flour by 1/4 c. and they were better. Delicous flavor. My kids gobbled them up!

Great recipe! I made them for my family and everyone loved them. I followed the recipe and had no problems with them spreading too much. Only thing I changed was I used a 12oz package of white chocolate chips and 1 1/2 cups of chopped macadamia nuts. I would definitely make these again!

I didn't have issues with these being flat. I used all butter and they were still wonderful. Didn't have the almond stuff though so I just left it out.

Made these the other day and they didn't last long. Everyone raved and couldn't stop eating them. I might cut the almond extract to 1/4 tsp next time. My daughter who doesn't like almond said that it went well with the recipe and didn't mind the taste at all. All in all a very moist, tasty, not too sweet cookie.

I just pulled my last pan out of the oven and could not be more pleased!!! I have always liked this kind of cookie but was afraid to try and bake them. I am glad that it was this recipe I tried first. Always nice to get it right the first time and these cookies are great.

Not really sure what happened here. I make cookies a few times a week for the family and this is the first time I've failed. I followed the recipe except didn't have any almond extract so I used vanilla, like others. They turned out flat and way too cakey. I was really disappointed. Think I'll stick to my original recipe. Thanks though!

These white chocolate macadamia nut cookies are so delicious. They're better than any I've bought at any bakery! I followed the recipe with the exception of the almond extract. I didn't have that nor a cookie sheet. I used 2 9x9s and made cookie "bars". They were a big hit. My family loved them. Thanks for posting this recipe!

Very good flavor! The combination of the vanilla and almond extracts was key to the flavor of the cookie I was trying to replicate. These came out a bit too "cakey" for me which is why I gave the recipe a "4".It could have been me as I haven't made cookies in quite some time! Family loved 'em!
