White Chocolate Grapes

"These are amazingly addictive and easy to make. Grapes are dipped in white chocolate then peanuts and the result makes a beautiful presentation that is great for appetizers or desserts."

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons shortening
  • 1 pound seedless grapes
  • 1 cup finely chopped salted peanuts

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine the white chocolate chips and shortening in a small microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth. Spread the chopped peanuts out on a piece of waxed paper or a dinner plate.
  2. Dip clean, dry grapes into the chocolate, then roll in the peanuts. Set on waxed paper until dry. Warm chocolate as needed in the microwave to keep it liquid.

So good. I served these at a kids' birthday party, and they were gone fast... both the adults and the kids loved them! I ran out of peanuts, so I smashed up some pretzels, which turned out great.
