Very yummy and easy to make. I used ground beef. I don't like things real spicy, so I only added half the pepper cheese. I tasted it after 1/2 hour and it needed something, so I did go ahead and add th rest of the pepper cheese. It was so yummy, I didn't mind the little extra spicy. My husband loved it too and couldn't beleive when I told him it only took 1/2 hour!

This was very good! I agree with some of the reviews that the color was kind of unappealing. Be sure to use a thick salsa or picante sauce so it's not runny.

I make this recipe several times a month. I use "fresh" salsa from the grocery store and Kroger Hot Pepper cheese. It makes it nice and spicy. My family (1 husband, a 10 year old, 9 year old, and 7 year old) loves it.

My husband and I both really liked this dish. It's flavorful and simple/easy to prepare. I used about 4 oz. of hot pepper cheese and there was still a good kick of spicyness.

This recipe is SO easy and my husband and I both love it. I've tried it with the ground turkey, and then again with canned chicken chunks and it is awesome both ways! If you cook it slowly and on a lower heat (like the recipe says) and you stir it often, you will not get any burned cheese on the bottom of your pot.

My husband really liked this. I thought it was too watery and a little bland. I suppose I could change the type of salsa I used if I decided to make this again.

Great chili! Loved the taste! I was worried it might be too spicy, but it was just right. But this was visually appalling. It took some convincing to get my husband to even taste it. Once he did try it, he liked it too. I used chicken broth instead of the water, and added about 1 tsp of cumin and 1 tsp chili powder. I also tried a jalapeno Havarti cheese, which melted very nicely and no mess like many others complained of. I loved the taste, but absolutely you couldn't serve this to anyone outside your family. My husband named it "Predigested Chili" and while he said he liked it a lot, he probably wouldn't ask me to make it again. I would have given it 5 stars for the taste alone, but couldn't get past the odd pink color, so it wound up with 4 stars overall.

Heavens to Betsy this is good (and I usually don't go for things like this). It's especially appealing because it is so easy to make. We substituted pepper jack cheese for the cheddar with good success.

I used shredded turkey instead of ground and chicken broth instead of water. It was wonderful! It may be a little spicy for youngsters, I'd use a mild salsa for them.

CROWD PLEASER!!! The first time I made this was for a group of family friends. I chose it because the ingredients were few and instructions were simple. Everyone loved it! I often get requests for the recipe.

This was a hit with everyone in our family. This recipe was really easy and tasty. If you don't like cheese, this recipe won't be for you, but I added even more cheese since we're cheese-lovers and it was really good. I also used hot pepper cheese, and black bean and corn salsa. It had just enough of a kick -- nothing too spicy but you could taste it. In case you can't find "Great Northern beans", white kidney beans are a great substitute.

Very tasty, but didn't look real good. Used hot pepper cheese and it had a great spice. Next time we will try more cheese and salsa for more of a kick.

Well, we all thought it was tasty, but ugly. It just looked bland. i couldn't serve it to anyone outside my family just because it looks tasteless, even though we liked eating it. As for the cheese-sticking-to-the-pan problem, I let it finish simmering and just put the cheese on top. When it had melted, I took the pot off the heat and stirred the cheese in. I didn't use a non-stick pan but still didn't have any cheese stuck to it!

We loved this recipe! I used ground beef and pinto beans to suit our tastes. It was great! I used the leftovers the next day to dip tortilla chips in. I used 1/2 cheddar cheese and 1/2 pepper jack cheese. It was wonderful!!!

Terriffic!! This was great! We added more salsa than the recipe called for (about twice as much) and used canned corn instead of frozen, and it was totally delish! Served the white chili with corn chips broken up in the bottom of the bowl and now its all gone! Can control the spicyness with the style of salsa!!

Very easy to make. I could not find Jalapeno Cheese at the grocer, so I used Pepper Jack instead. I also threw in some Jalapeno juice for flavor and spice. I loved it... scraped the pot. My wife wasn't excited about it, though it may have been the spiciness.

I used cooked/cubed chicken instead of ground turkey and only one can of northen beans. While others mentioned problems w/ the cheese cooking hard to their pot - we didn't have that problem. This recipe combines my three favorite words: fast, easy and satisfying. Thanks Tina.

I made this chili using a black bean and corn salsa and it was wonderful. I served it on top of a mexican corn bread recipe also on this site. My fiancee has been talking about it ever since. As a novice cook, I always select the recipes with the best reviews regarding both taste and ease in preparation - this one was a winner!
