This was awesome. I did modify the recipe though and left out the chicken making it a vegetable lasagna. I added mushrooms, peas, and like another viewer suggested only used one bag of frozen spinach. It was plenty! This dish was fab and will definitely make it again! My husband LOVED it!!! and I also think I will use the white cheese sauce to use on white chicken pizza. Delish!

This was so flavorful!! It smelled great, too. The only change I had to make was instead of the dried basil I used the italian seasoning that you would add to spaghetti b/c it had basil as one of the main ingredients.

I really enjoyed this dish! I didn't have any ricotta, so I left it out and I made a few tweaks to the spices just cause I know what my family likes. Funny thing was my hubby said afterwards, "it could use a ricotta layer!" so next time I'll be sure to have ricotta on hand. I will definitely make this again!

Read through the reviews and made some of the suggested changes (paprika, garlic) and this came out delicious!!! Next time I make this I will omit the chicken and make a vegetable lasagna in the cheese sauce. Great recipe!!!

Great recipe. Made a few changes but stayed relatively true to the recipe - doubled the garlic to 2 cloves and swapped cottage cheese for ricotta because that's what I had, and used MUCH LESS butter (maybe 1 Tbsp at most). Served it for my sister-in-law while she was visiting, and we all really enjoyed it. Thanks for the recipe!

This was pretty darn tasty. I made it in an 8x8 pan because I was just trying to use up some leftover ricotta and lasagna noodles. I left out the spinach because I didn't have any used Italian seasoning instead of the basil and oregano. The sauce was delicious! I loved how cheesy it was. The finished prouduct was a little soupy and didn't hold together that well. Maybe the leftovers will thicken up. I used plain baked chicken breasts but I think next time I would season them somehow for more flavor.

This the best ever! The others had mushroom soup which does not compare to this sauce! Gave it to a friend and now it is one of her favorites. Thank you Lisa Humpf! Anyone I fix it for says it is wonderful.

This was really good. But i cut the ammount of spinach in half, and there was still a ton. I also added a little cream cheese. I decided not to cube the chicken but to shread it instead, the texture was much better that way!

This was a great alternative to a traditional lasagna. I'm not to fond of red sauces so I was looking for something different to make with the lasagna noodles I had. This definitely fit the bill. I substituted broccoli for spinach and left out the parsley, only as a matter of taste preference. It was a little too watery inside but that might have been because of the broccoli. I'd make this again.

I make Chicken Alfredo all the time and I needed a little change. This was VERY good. I used a 5 oz pkg of fresh spinach, which I had sautéed in about 1/4 cup of water until wilted. I might use 10 oz next time even though I feel 5 was just fine for me. Cubed two skinless chicken breasts and sautéed in same pan I used for spinach with 2 TBPS butter, minced garlic, and 2 tsp Italian Seasoning. I didn't add the oregano and basil.. only Italian Seasoning.

This was very delicious! Very rich, I sauteed chicken breast in garlic, diced onion and butter before I cubed it. There was no need to double up the sauce there was plenty almost too much. This dish is great for company and can be made ahead of time!

This was a great alternative to our usual lasagna. However, because of fat content I doubt that it will be made more than once a year.

Definitely rich & yummy! I made a half batch since it was just me & hubs. But, I agree that it's kinda time consuming & uses too many pans. I'll try to streamline it in the future: shredded rotisserie chicken, no boil noodles & pre-shredded cheese would cut down prep time a lot. I'd never skimp on the sauce, though. Soooooo good! The fresh spinach is a must too. I'm not usually a fan, but I couldn't even taste it.

Husband Liked and he is fairly picky with new recipes...I did 6 servings instead of 12 and decided to take some ideas into consideration....I bought fresh spinach and cooked it in olive oil, next time I will use butter though...and I cut up some mushrooms and sauted them too. I didn't use as much cheese as requested it had plenty...I went a little less on the parmesan and mozz....and I shredded the chicken which gave it great texture. I also used a zester for the onion as I don't really like big pieces for my toddler... it was a very good dish and I would make it again next time I will not skimp on the butter though.....it will add good flavor ! Oh and I used 1 whole garlic clove and probably could have used another :) Delish ! thank you !

Out of this world. The white sauce from scratch is amazing. Only thing was I used no-boil noodles and it came out too aldente but the next day when reheating leftovers it had absorbed enough moisture so it wasn't a problem but if making it for family and friends, take the extra time to use boil noodles. Also I baked my chicken in 350 oven for a half hour before i cut it up. Juicy and delicious!

Very good! Taste the sauce when it is done cooking. This is where the flavor comes from. If it needs salt/garlic...etc, add it towards the end. I did not and it really needed some salt.
