Delicious and very easy to make! Way better than the ready made kind. Be sure to use a metal bowl and place in the freezer for ten minutes before making the whipped cream. I can't wait to experiment with different flavor extracts and different amounts of sugar.

So good! I doubled the vanilla because we buy imitation. Next time hopefully we'll get the real stuff; if not, I'll use clear because this batch came out a little golden. I might leave out the sugar next time too! Nothing beats homemade whipped cream. Nothing.

I made this and could not get it to whip into peaks. I accidentally added the vanilla BEFORE beating the cream. I am not sure if this is what caused it not to thicken? I did chill my whisk and bowl about 20 minutes in the freezer before making the whipped cream. I plan to try this recipe again - hopefully it will come out better next time. Though I have to admit paying .99 cents for a tub of cool whip is easier!

Really easy, and far better than the store-bought variety.

This was not sweet enough for me. I added 1 Tbs more sugar and 1 tsp more vanilla, it probably could have used more of both but I was afraid of over whipping.

A great technique for those of us who don't know how to make homemade whipped cream, but I don't think that I would have enjoyed the recipe as much as is. I added 2 Tbsp. more confectioner's sugar, and another tsp. of vanilla. Just our tastes. Thanks for steering me in the right direction!

Yum!!! I will never buy whipped cream at the store again! As other reviewers suggested, I added 1 more tablespoon of sugar to make it a little sweeter. It turned out perfect and was super easy to make!

Very easy and tasty! I added a little extra sugar and whipped with an electric mixer with the whisk attachment. This was a perfect finishing touch to my key lime pie. :)

Great recipe! I, too, added extra sugar and it turned out great. Hubby loved it! I chilled the bowl & beater bars ahead, and fixed the recipe for four. Perfect!

I'm giving 4 stars because I added more sugar. It wasn't sweet enough for my family.

This was perfect! It was also very easy.I used an electric hand mixer(low setting) and it took a few minutes took get to the soft peaks stage.I had to add a 1/2 a tbls more confectioners sugar than the recipe called for because it was not sweet enough.I served it with strawberries.I will surely make this again!!!
