Whipped Cream

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large bowl, whip cream until stiff peaks are just about to form. Beat in vanilla and sugar until peaks form. Make sure not to over-beat, cream will then become lumpy and butter-like.

Good recipe. Chill mixing bowl and beaters in freezer for 10 minutes before preparing. Also,can experiment with different extracts to get just the right flavor to go with that perfect recipe (rum extract,almond,banana,coconut,maple,coffee)~tried them all :)

This recipe is delicious, and so easy!! I made this to top a Tiramisu recipe and it really made a nice finishing touch. Add this to any recipe that needs that little something extra.

So simple and easy to make. Be sure to use a metal bowl. I usually place mine (with the wisk) in the freezer for five or ten minutes before making the cream. Delicious! You'll never buy ready made again!
