Very tasty! Here were the changes I made: used 6 eggs, 1 cup skim milk, shredded colby jack chesse and I added a liberal dash of hot sauce to the eggs instead of the black pepper. I pre-baked the crescent rolls for 10 min, then baked the casserole a total of 25 more min. Crust was crispy - next time will pre-bake crust a few less min (maybe 5 min). Not at all soggy like some other reviews. Overall VERY yummy! I may try and make a lower calorie/fat version in the future - I'll let you know how it turns out! Note: this reheats REALLY well - husband likes to put hot sauce on top!

Verry yummy quiche-like casserole! Cooking temp needed to be lowered and cooking time lengthened to cook to the center. I WILL make again at 350-375 for 30 minutes.

I used smoked mozarella instead and it was delish. However, it did need a little extra time in the oven than recommended. Reheats really well!

Made this for breakfast one Sunday morning. My husband and mother thought it was great. Took the leftovers to work the next day and everyone raved and wanted the recipe. Plan on adding this to the Christmas breakfast menu.

Very good recipe for company. I did not have reg sausage so I used turkey links cut in 1/4" slices. Used 1% milk and increased the eggs to 10! Used mixed italian cheeses and cheddar. Had to bake longer d/t the egg volume. Can't remember how much longer but just tested with a tooth pick. Would definately make again. Oh by the way, I did prebake the crescent rolls to light brown.

This casserole was delicious. Our kids and grandkids were in for the weekend and this was a hit. I'm glad to have a good breakfast recipe that I can serve whenever we have overnight company. I altered this recipe in some of the ways other reviewers recommended. I used a combination of cheddar and monteray jack cheeses. I used 5 eggs and 1 cup whole milk (just because I had it on hand for the grandbaby--I'll probably use skim in the future). I used Jimmy Dean Bold Country sausage (not the Bold Hot), which has a great flavor without being too hot. I browned about 1/4 cup of chopped onion with the sausage. I left the black pepper out of the recipe because I was afraid it might be too much with the bold sausage. I cooked the casserole for 15 minutes. Then I took it out of the oven and put foil around the edges to keep it from getting too browned, and I baked it for 10 more minutes--a total of 25 minutes. The servings from the outside edges of the dish were perfect, but the servings from the interior of the casserole really needed just a few more minutes in the oven. I think next time I will put the protective foil around the edges from the beginning and bake it for a full 30 minutes. If you like sausage, eggs, and croissants, I can think of no reason that you wouldn't enjoy this recipe.

I made this as directed and found it needed longer to cook as the eggs were still runny (ish) and the crust was mushy (double ish). Cooked additional 10 minutes and still some mushiness in the crust area. Cooked for 15 minutes and the toppings were overcooked the crust you could finally tolerate. I will make this again with modifications of cooking the crust before adding the toppings and cooking the eggs for a short time also.

Quick and delicious breakfast. I used five eggs instead of four. My boyfriend loves this although we try not to eat it too often because of the trans fat in the rolls and the fat content in general.

I really thought I would like this recipe more. Per other reviewers suggestions, I added onions, green peppers, and mushrooms, and used 6 eggs and a little more milk. I thought the crescent roll crust sounded wonderful, but it just didn't do anything for me. It was ok, but I won't make again.

This was a very easy recipe to modify. I chose this recipe because I like the idea of crescent rolls on the bottom. Unfortunatly it was too soggy to really appreciate the taste of the cresent rolls. Next time I would try and baking the crescent rolls a little to see if that helps with it not being so soggy or else adding some on top and sides of the dish (we like crescent rolls). I varried this 5 different ways to allow for all sorts of different taste buds. Just use your imagination it should work!!!

I just made this for a gathering last weekend. It was a big hit! I did end up using cheddar-jack cheese, 5 eggs and 1 cup of milk and baked for 20 minutes or so. And the biggest test of all...my 7-year-old loves it!
