Excellent and easy. It was a hit at my brunch. I made it in the morning, covered the casserole dish and put it in the refrigerator. After Church, I pulled it out of the refrigerator and let it rest while the oven preheated. It took about 5 minutes longer to cook than shown in the recipe. Delicious!

WOW! No sooner did I serve this breakfast casserole and it was gone! Easy, quick, tasty, no need to add or tweek it in anyway. Great even cold at lunch or warmed the next day. One note: the crescent dough will come out mushy if the sausage is cooked before baking the casserole for the appointed 15 minutes so add an extra 5 minutes to harden it. The first time I made this I cooked the sausage the night before and it sat in the frig overnight. The next morning the 15 minute baking time was served a perfect casserole. The second time I made this casserole I cooked the sausage just before baking and the crescent roll on the bottom was too soft. The additional 5 minutes baking time was effective. Enjoy this meal. My husband is eager for me to make it again.

I would give this recipe 5 stars on taste, but I had to cook it longer than the 15 minutes stated in the original recipe. I baked the casserole for 15 minutes, and the crescent roles were done! However, the eggs in the middle were not even close to done. I ended up having to microwave it for another 8 minutes so that the middle would finish cooking and not burn the crust. Tasted great, and I will definitely be making this again.

Wow. This was sooo good! I substituted mozarella for cheddar and sweet Italien sausage for the Bob Evans. Also used the biscuts instead of the crescent rolls. And like another reviewer, I cooked the eggs first (used five). Fantastic recipe!

Wow this was sooo good. I made some changes.. I used a casserole dish and pushed the crescent dough up the sides of this dish... creating a bowl. I chopped up some bacon and cooked it with onion. I then scrambled the eggs before putting them into the oven. I put half the bacon and onion mixture on top of the dough then egg then more bacon and onion.. I toped it with white cheddar cheese and some mozzarella cheese.. I cooked it until the crescent dough turned brown on the sides. This recipe is so versatile.. You could use mushrooms....peppers....ham... you name it.

This was good but I thought the crust was on the thick side. I would make again but use cresent rolls for the crust.

Had to bring a no-meat casserole to a church function and decided to try this w/out sausage. Turned out great! As recommended added an egg and 1/4 c. more milk. Also added a little onion powder and sage powder to enhance (esp. since there was no meat). Also combined two kinds of cheddars (sharp and a light vermont.) The top was a little on the dark side, so might recommend cooking with foil until the end - but that will increase cooking time.

Modified a bit to suit our tastes: used chicken/apple sausage (cut into bite-sized chunks), 1/3 cup crumbled goat cheese, and 1/2 cup cooked/squeezed spinach as the filling. Everyone wanted more!

I was looking for something different for xmas morning and came across this recipe. I made it up ahead of xmas to see if everyone liked it. It was good, but something was missing to make it great! I added a pound of cooked italian sausage, 1/4 cup diced red pepper, 1 diced green onion, 1 cup Asiago cheese. Increased the eggs to 5 and the milk to 1 cup. Cooked it 25 mins and it was a hit! So easy to make, the kids loved it, gramma loved it and I loved it. Planning to make it again for New Years brunch.

This recipe was perfect for Christmas morning. I cooked it a little longer than what was indicated, so it was firm in the middle. It was loved by all and will become a staple as a favorite breakfest treat.

We loved it! So did several of our friends this morning. It was gone before it had time to cool. We added diced onions and went with a hickory smoked sausage for extra flavor. Quick to make... Quick to clean!
