Original Recipe Yield 1 -9x13 inch cake
 

Ingredients

  • 3 cups baking mix
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons apple pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup apple pie filling
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the biscuit mix, white sugar, brown sugar, apple pie spice, ground cinnamon, eggs, milk, mashed apple pie filling and the butter margarine. Mix until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 50 minutes. Remove cake from oven and drizzle with glaze.
  4. To Make Glaze: Combine the confectioners' sugar, milk and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Drizzle over the cake while it is still warm.
