OH. MY. GOSH. This was fantastic! Definitely let the watermelon sit in a strainer for a few minutes after cutting it to get some of the extra liquid out. And if you can let the salsa sit for a couple of hours before serving it gets even better. Yum Yum Yum.

This was so refreshing. Worked nicely with a spicy main dish. It worked better as a salad than a salsa. I would recommend extra peppers and smaller pieces of watermelon. I will definitely be making this one again.

This is still the best salsa ever ... . I always use red onion and turn up the heat with more peppers. I also use an ice crean scoop to scoop out the melon; put the melon ball in an egg slicer..cut one direction; turn and cut the other..nice uniform slices and much easier to pick up on chips

This was such an interesting recipe and conversation piece! I had everyone trying to guess what it was made with. It had a nice, refreshing taste. I added regular onions to the mix, so yummy!!! I can't wait to trick more people on its secret ingredient! Thanks!!

This is very unusual salsa, I used this as a topping for mahi mahi. But don`t serve this at once, refregirate for a few hours before serving, the taste will be much better (I served this just after preparing and the salsa was a little bland).

Made this for a potluck and everyone simply loved it! Very light and refreshing. It was very mild, so even the kids loaded up on it. Meets my criteria for a 5-star: easy, delicious, healthy, beautiful, and unique. Thanks for the fun recipe!

really good and a pleasant new twist from regular salsa. i love the combo of flavors that watermelon and bell peppers make. I did not use a whole jalepeno b/c I was afraid it would be too hot. so of course it wasn't hot enough. will use the recommended amount next tiem.

This was very good and a hit. My jalepeno also was not very strong so it lacked in the "fire" department. I have made it several times, though, and it was well received.

I think i mixed this tto early b/c the watermelon became too juicy> also my jalepeno was not very strong so there was no real kick to it. I would like to try thisd again since is sounds so good.

Very interesting, and very good. I used half a red bell pepper, and half a green bell pepper instead of the one the recipe calls for b/c I didn't want it to be overpowering in spiciness. Very good-used freeze-dried cilantro b/c that's what I had on hand, and it was well-received. My sister loved it b/c, as she stated, "it doesn't have the density of tomatoes in a regular tomato-based salsa."

Cool and refreshing, with a bite! This recipe took first place at my block party recently! I skipped the garlic and doubled the onion, cilantro and jalapeno. My suggestions: mix a few hours ahead of time, drain the liquid and add salt JUST before serving (the salt draws out the moisture and "ages" the melon but is necessary to the flavor.) Next time I will look for a dish that allows me to serve the salsa on ice to keep it cold longer.

quite good. I used red onion instead of green, and added mango for fun. I even tricked my brother - he thought it was tomato salsa.
