Wassail Punch I

Submitted by: Leslie
I was given this recipe when touring a home in our community that was presented in full period costume and celebration for the Christmas holiday. In 1821 a German settler brought to the area the first tree for decorating, presented the traditional Yule Log ceremony and offered Wassail Punch.

The aroma of this punch tells you that autumn is in the air. Make a batch, and your home will have a fragrance that will alert anyone's sense of smell.

A fruity concoction is frozen into a slush and then placed in a punch bowl with carbonated beverage. Makes enough for 2 punch bowls.

A quick and easy punch made with cranberry juice, lemonade and orange juice -- bejeweled with maraschino cherries and sparkling with ginger ale. Pour in some rum for some extra kick!

Champagne Peach Punch

Submitted by: Barb
I first made this punch for a wedding 25 years ago. I found a recipe for a peach punch but didn't care for it. This is my adaptation that actually tastes good. This is nice with a ring of ice with fruit or edible flowers frozen into it. Garnish with fruit or mint leaves.
