Made this pretty much as written, only difference is that we added green onions and garlic. Excellent!

Walnut Chicken Haiku: "What makes this stand out? I loved the crunchy walnuts! But it needs garlic." I made this as directed, except I used way more veggies than just bell pepper (broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, celery, onions, zucchini) and I ran out of soy sauce after the initial 1 TB, so I went w/ Trader Joe's Soyaki. /rubs belly. That stuff is slammin'! At dinner, my husband was all, "wow! What's that unusual crunch in here?" and we agreed that the addition of walnuts was key to making this stand apart from other stir-frys. If I'd had the full amount of soy sauce available, I would've added a generous helping of minced garlic, but otherwise, as it is, this is a darn good stir-fry.

I thought this was good but a little bland. I added carrots and green onion in addition to the green pepper. I doubled the sauce, but only put in 1/2 C walnuts. Next time I would add more walnuts, as they are what gives the meal the most flavor.

I made no changes to the recipe & my whole family loved it! The walnuts give it quite a unique flavor. I will definitely be making this one again and again! Thanks!

Very tasty, but I tripled the sauce and added onion, sliced carrot, thick mushroom slices, and would have thrown some snap peas in if I had them. Also, I added ginger as well to the marinade and 2-3 tsp of garlic powder to the sauce. Next time I will increase the walnut portion.

Delicious and easy! I added about 1 tsp chopped fresh ginger to soy sauce in the beginning. We also had hot sauce on the side for individual preferences. The men in my family are kind of picky but all three of them ate this and enjoyed it.

I loved this dish. So easy and delicious! I added some green onion and used cashews instead of walnuts.
