This was really good, we used milk instead of water in the cake mix and i think next time we will leave out the choc chips

I was hesistant to try this recipe as no one else had yet reviewed it, but it's awesome! The flavors have left me craving more all week. The only problem I had is that the butter did not incorporate with the caramel and milk very well (I did it in the microwave, which may have made the difference). But I poured it over the top of the bottom layer and added the rest of the ingredients and everything came out perfect. This was a very special treat for our birthday weekend o'fun and made me look like a master chef :) Oh yeah, one more thing, the longer you let it cool the easier it will be to get out of the pan in one piece (if you do not cool it on a wire rack). Serve with a scoop of vanilla, if you can handle it, and you will be in heaven!
