Like many reviewers, I needed to reduce the amount of mayo, which brought this otherwise 5 star recipe down to 4 stars. I often add grapes for variety along with cran-raisins (instead of golden raisins, but it's all good). I no longer add walnuts because they are rather bitter for my taste; instead, being a Southerner, I use candied or regular roasted pecans. When I don't have celery, I just toss in crispy romaine lettuce before serving. This recipe lends itself to many additions such as adding blue cheese. Indeed, a good basic recipe.
