Made this for Mother's Day this past year because my mom is a really picky eater and the ingredients in this fit her taste. Everyone LOVED it and it was SO easy to make! It's a new staple in my household for holiday brunches!

I tried this recipe as brunch for my family on a Saturday morning. It was so easy. I thought the 4 cups of cheese sounded like too much but I always try to follow the recipe exactly as is the first time and adjust on following attempts if needed. It really was NOT too much cheese. I did use the suggestions from other membesr and pre-baked the hash brown patties as other members had suggested. Turned out great - crispy bottom. This is a tasty, easy recipe.

This is a GREAT recipe! Able to change it up to your taste and it will still come out great! I used shredded hashbrowns w/ pepper and onions. Browned entire bag first in skillet. Topped with 1/2 lb of sausage, then cheese, then bacon (bought the already cooked bacon-just chopped it up, I used the entire box...we LOVE bacon). Added 2 extra eggs and 1/2 cup of milk to the egg mixture and it turned out delicious!! I will definetly make this casserole again!

I made this casserole for my Sunday School Class. It was a big hit. I took the advice from others and cooked the hashbrowns first for about 15-20 minutes. Used turkey sausage patties cut in cubes instead of ham. Added sauteed bell pepper and onions. Also, used 8 eggs. Will make again.

Ahhh...this was so good! I followed others' advice and baked the hash browns for about 15 minutes before topping. I also added ham AND bacon (!) and a couple of extra eggs. The result was an empty casserole dish! Thanks for the recipe!

It turned out pretty good. I ended up halfing the recipe and using 5 eggs and no ground mustard. I didn't have hashbrowns, so I used tater tots and cooked them before adding the other ingredients as reviewed by others. Before adding the cheese, I added a layer of diced onion and jarred mushrooms for some extra flavor. This recipe is good by itself or on a tortilla w/ some salsa. **update** I made this again using sausage instead of ham and adding jalepenos and onions. Served on a tostada w/ some salsa. Yum!!

I made this for a breakfast at work and the dish was well received. I used frozen O'Brien potatos, which have chopped onion and green pepper already in it. also used Virginia Ham as I dont care for the saltiness of cubed ham. Very Good and easy to assemble. I would make this again.

This is really a great dish! I was worried about my kids eating it but they loved it. I'm not big on melted cheddar or ham chunks, but I have to say that I really liked it too. The only thing I did differently was add sauteed onions. Two thumbs up. And so much for my diet.

This was delicious. I followed another reviewer and used corn beef hash instead of ham, and also used about 10 eggs instead of what was listed. I made this for Mother's Day and everyone enjoyed it.

Easy and tastes great! I followed the suggestions given in baker_scebbi's review and it turned out great. I made the night before except for I waited until right before baking to add the cream of mushroom on top. Turned out great

YUM! This has a little bit of everything all in one. I did bake the hash browns for 10 minutes before adding other ingredients as did some other users. Also, I would recommend buying the Ore-ida hash browns, they fit perfect in the cassorole dish (9 X 13) vs store brand. Store brand you will need to break up to make them fit so that you don't have gaps at the bottom without hash browns. I also used about 3 cups of cheese.

I needed to take something for a work morning meeting and this worked very well. I cooked the hash browns in the oven for 20 minutes first, to make sure they were crispy and would then not have to worry about them going soggy. Then I cooked up 4 sausages and cut them into 1" pieces. Once the hash browns were done, I tossed in the sausages on top, used bacon instead of ham, added chopped mushrooms, an extra egg and then completed the recipe as written. So a great base recipe that you can tweak easily to your tastes. I will definately be making this again, as it ideal for when you have a gathering. It also looked very presentable

Very easy to make. I did used hashbrown potatoes since that is what I had and cooked them for 15 minutes before adding the egg and ham. Only used half the cheese because I thought it seemed like too much but I wish I would have used it all. It did need more! I also added more egg since my husband loves eggs. Will definitely make again!

Quick, easy, delicious! I used almost an entire package of shredded hash browns as the base, squeezed out the water, and baked for almost 20 min. Then added the rest of the ingredients. Definite crowd-pleaser.
