Very tasty and easy to make. I used roll sausage (Bob Evans) in place of bacon, and baked the hash browns for 15 min. prior to assembly. This would be equally delicious with veges mixed in (onions, mushrooms, red/green pepper, or even asparagus). I think you can play with the cheeses used, as well, to alter the taste. Family loved it; will definitely make this again!

Really tasty even when I overcooked it a bit. I, like others, cooked my hash browns (tater tots, the flat ones) for 10 minutes. I also used sausage instead of ham. Everyone ate this up.

This is a nice recipe...a great guideline. You can add your own flair to it easily. I used bacon instead of ham, and about half the cheese and it was great. I would use more eggs next time, it was a bit potato-y this time. But I will definitely use this again and twist it for whatever the mood may be at the time.

We had this for Christmas breakfast and it was great! It baked while we opened presents, but we will be having this again soon! My husband said for dinner would be great :) I used my 9x13 pan for french toast so I used a little smaller pan, 5 eggs 3/4 c. milk and 1/4 t. salt and mustard, 2 c. cheese, and 3/4 lb of ham. As other reviews suggested I baked the hash browns for 10 minutes (per side) but I did the baking while I whisked the eggs. It was YUMMY! Loved it

This is great! I made this for Christmas breakfast and my husband loved it. I used hash brown patties and baked them for about 15 minutes before adding the remaining ingrediants. I also added some swiss cheese (to use up the little block I had left) and green onion for color and extra flavor. I only baked it for 45 minutes but let it sit for about 15 before serving. Perfect with mimosa's!

Made this for family on Christmas morning. Out of this world. Was skeptical as I was making it and putting ingredients in the casserole dish as to how it would taste and look. Awesome is an understatement. This is very very filling (or at least it will be with your second helping) so do not plan on lunch. This will take you right into dinner - which should justify the second helping.

Very Good. I also put the hash browns in skillet to get crispy. My casserole was a bit salty my mother in law made sure to tell me that. So, next time I make it I will not add the salt. I think the ham has enough of it for this recipe.

Fabulous and flavorful! It came out wonderfully and my guests kept going back for seconds and thirds. A very good breakfast casserole. I would recommend pre-baking the hash browns like other reviewers suggested so that they are not soggy. Also, I was cooking for people who do not eat red meat so I used turkey sausage and it still turned out great. I think this would be a great base for any additions (ham, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, etc.).

I love this recipe, I got it from a lady in my Bible study. It is so easy, and yummy with sausage, bacon, or ham. I usually use just tator tots in the bottom, because with kids I always have those handy instead of the patties. I like that I can do it the night before and have the mess cleaned up.

This is delicious! On busy days I will make this the night before and refrigerate it, and in the morning will heat it up and it is wonderful! Very filling also. Often I will chop up bacon and fry it and add as a replacement for the ham. It is fabulous and simple.

I made this once as written, and then tweaked it a bit before making it again for breakfast on Thanksgiving morning. I used the flat tater tots, and baked them for about 10 minutes before putting the rest of the casserole together. I did use a bit more salt and pepper than called for and also added some garlic powder. I think I used around 10 eggs also. It was very well received by my guests.

This recipe was good. I did bake the hashbrowns for about 15 minutes before adding the egg mixture. I like crunchy potatoes not soggy. I also omitted the mustard.

This was good. We used tater tots as others recommended and liked it alot. You definitely have to brown the hash browns or tater tots first so the casserole is not soggy. We subbed sausage for ham because we had it on hand.

I made this tonight as written, except I only added 2 cups of cheese, and it was marvelous! I put half the cheese on top of the ham and hashbrowns, and the other half on the very top, on top of the eggs. We all loved it, thanks for an awesome recipe!

Ok, but could probably use more eggs to give more substance. I only baked 45 minutes with foil, and 15 without and still kind of dry. I did substitute Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage for the ham because of family preference. Only used 2 1/2 cups of cheese and I think that was more than plenty. Kids didn't like and Husband only ate with tons of ketchup poured over it - now that's not a good sign.
