Seems like a lot of baking powder, but who cares? They came out perfect. I didn't whip the egg whites, btw, and they were excellent.

Absolutely the best waffle recipe ever. Light as air. I added some sugar to make them stand up well on their own and need less syrup. After this, any other recipe seems pithy!

Excellent and easy! We used whole wheat flour instead of white and they were great! Crispy, moist and great flavor!

I don't need sweet waffles, the syrup on top is enough--I did however add a 1/2 cup milk because my batter seemed too thick. They turned out great!

Followed recipe exactly except added chocolate chip morsels to batter! Yummm! Hubby said that the waffles had more flavor and they were fluffy. Kids loved them too so that gets 5 stars! Thanks!

I've never made waffles before (from a mix or otherwise) and these were simple and delicious! Fried up some green apples with cinnamon and sugar, then some whipped cream. I impressed my company:)

This is so far my favorite waffle recipes. I did add 2 T. sugar and 1 t. vanilla. I also use melted butter instead of oil sometimes. I make these almost once a week. They freeze great for home-made toaster waffles :)

Great base recipe. I added 3 tbsp of sugar, 2 tsp vanilla, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1/8 tsp butter flavoring, 1/2 cup fresh blueberries and 1/8 allspice to the mix before folding in the egg whites. I was afraid there would not be enough for my family of 5 prior to folding in the egg whites. Once I folded in the egg whites, it made a big difference. Do not avoid beating the egg whites till stiff. It only takes a minutes and will make or break this recipe in my opinion. Thanks to RAZZ_BRRY_JAM for a great basic recipe ;)

Delicious and easy to make. Needed a little more flavor, though, so I added some vanilla.
