This was a fantastic and quick, easy waffle recipe! it made 4 full and 2 smaller Belgian waffles. I followed the recipe pretty much except added 1 1/2 t Lemon juice to the milk. Added only 1/4 cup oil. Added 1/4 cup splenda instead of real sugar. A good couple shakes of cinnamon. I also beat the eggs to give them some fluffiness. Poured short of 1 cup in the belgian waffle maker. kept warm in oven til ready! So YUMMY!

These are the best homemade waffles. I didn't change anything. I love the fact that you can make ahead and store in the refrigerator. I always whip up a batch at home and then pack in the ice chest for camping. In the morning just have to plug in the waffle maker in the R.V. and my batter is already made. LOVE IT!

These waffles are truly delightful! They get nice and crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. They aren't particularly flavourful on their own but the recipe can easily be used with some small alterations to add a whole lot of flavour. I love them!

Best Waffles Ever! I've tried several from this site and this is the best, hands down. Crispy, great texture, and full of flavor. Made them in the blender, nothing could be easier. I cut back the oil a bit and added a little more sugar based on other reviews but that was it. My son ate 4 - FOUR - full sized waffles! I'll be making these again, no doubt!

This was great! I doubled the recipe. The only thing I did differently was I separated the egg yolks and whites and beat the whites and folded them into the batter. Yes it was an extra step and another dirty bowl but my family loved them! So I would say it was worth the extra work. The waffles were super fluffy, slightly crunchy on the outside but soft inside. This one is a keeper!!!

I recently bought myself a waffle maker and was searching for an easy recipe. I was very pleased with how the waffles turned out. They were light and crispy on the outside. They smell heavenly with the addition of the vanilla. Next time I think I'll add a bit more sugar as I like the taste of a sweeter waffle since I don't use any syrup. Served with strawberries and icing sugar, they are quite a show stopper on the breakfast table!

I have been on the hunt for the perfect waffle recipe for years. I shall hunt no more. OneShyofaBunch, you have made my breakfasts so very very happy. Thank you! I have people asking when I am doing "breakfast for dinner" nights again so they can come over and eat waffles again! Thank you again, these are amazing!

OMG I loved this recipe. It smells amazing while it cooks and the batter is a thick gorgeous mixture. I did use self rising flour and omitted salt and baking soda because I was using up ingredients in my pantry. I have been searching for a delicious waffle recipe so that I can use my mother's now nearly 60 year old waffle iron (yep, it still works and looks like it did the day she bought it...she always took such great care of her stuff!). This recipe ROCKS!
