The perfect waffle mix! I beat the eggs together, but for a good 5 minutes with the Kitchen Aid on high before adding the rest of the ingredients. Waffles are fluffy and very tasty!

I've made this recipe a couple of times after getting a small waffle iron for Christmas. If you want them healthier, sub whole wheat flour in, they're still great!

I love this recipe! It taste better with 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour and 1/2 white flour. I also added a little extra vanilla.

Made these two weekends ago...came out crispy, but that is all they had going for them. I ate them just so I didn't waste them. I tried another recipe off of another website this last weekend and will be using it from now on - not this one.

This is a very good basic recipe. I added 2 tbsp. more sugar and 2 tbsp. total of vanilla. Also added berries and choc. chips for my fam's taste. Will use this recipe from now on with the modifications. Happy 2009!

Perfect waffles. They are nice and crunchy on the outside but light inside. This is so much better than using bisquick and just as fast.

I got a new waffle maker for Christmas and used this recipe when using it the first time. My waffles were delicious and I whipped this recipe up in no time flat. I did beat my egg whites as suggested by one reviewer and the end result was waffles that were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. For us, this recipe made 5 waffles.

These were great. I omitted the oil and used applesauce. Kids loved them and they were nice and easy.

These are great. I sometimes add one extra egg for the grandkids who don't eat much after breakfast. That seems to make them crisper. Everyone asks for this recipe.

I doubled the sugar & vanilla, and only used 1/3 cup of oil. I also separated the eggs and whipped the whites till they were like meringue then folded the whites into the completed batter before spooning onto the waffle iron. These turned out almost like Eggos! Delicious with a dusting of powdered sugar and a little strawberry syrup!

Loved the basis of this recipe. Made a few changes. Double the amount of sugar and vanilla, and change from 1 3/4 c milk to => 3/4 c buttermilk, 1 c milk. Also, separate egg white and beat until peaks form. Go ahead and add yolks to main mixture. Fold in egg whites. Wonderful! I make these especially for Christmas morning.

Everytime I make these waffles, they turn out fluffy and appear uncooked. I replace the oil for melted butter, turns out better
